<Flashback when Octavia was 10 years old>

"Mother may I go out to the woods?" I asked looking at my Mother who merely smiled slightly and nodded with concern eyes. "But don't stray too long,the sun is setting soon. If you see any strangers come straight home."

I nodded with a smile and ran out of the house remembering to bring a dagger along with me and I charged into the woods. The smell of the flowers and the sound of insects intrigued me. I walked deeper into the woods seeing birds and insects flying over me as if guiding me somewhere. With a small smile I ran as the birds above me flew to a specific direction. I've never gone this way before. But the view I saw was enchanting. Fresh sweet smelling fruits were growing everywhere. Glowing blue butterflies decorated the trees making the area glow blue in colour.

I stepped closer making the butterflies flutter around. I unknowingly spread out my arms and they landed on me. I've never seen a glowing butterfly before. It's so beautiful. I stared at them adoringly before moving my arms slightly and dropping them to my side. Making the butterflies flutter around me. I glanced around and saw a dark corridor. I wonder what's in there.

My curiosity came and I walked towards the dark alley. I unconsciously reached for my dagger but did not take it out. I crossed over to the deeper end and I barely heard or see animals at all. It would be very scary if I was not  feeling brave.

Walking deeper and deeper it gets darker and darker. I took my dagger and held it tightly in my hand. Then suddenly something or someone knocked me down but I got up quickly and held the dagger tightly. It was a boy. I glanced at him noticing his black hair and green eyes looking positively pissed.

"Who are you,little girl?" He spat out. Then I knew immediately he was not from the village.Mother did say to go straight home if I see strangers. I made a step to the side but he blocked my way then I tried the other one but he blocked it again. Giving me a skeptical look he asked "What are you doing?"

"My Mother said to go straight home if I see any strangers." I said back rather harshly. "So you're Mother's little sweet girl who always do what Mothers says?" He smirked slightly infuriating me. "No!" I protested. He merely chuckled as I felt my cheeks turn red in anger. But before I could say anything a loud growl was heard. I jumped slightly at that sound and whipped out my dagger.

A huge figure came out of the dark. It's a huge wolf. It wasn't full moon so this was a wild wolf. It snarled menacingly at us and the murderous look in its eyes made me tremble slightly. Throughout training, I've never fought with an actual wolf before. The wolf starts charging at us and I turn to see the boy sudden change. His eyes glowed blue,his nails turned longer and I see him baring his fangs out then he turned into a wolf with a loud howl that sounded more like a howl. Then he charged at the wild wolf.

I stood there frozen by what I saw. He's not human. But not like the wolves in our village. So what is he? I see how the wild wolf was too big for his wolf size as the wild wolf tackled him to the ground easily. The big wolf just clawed at him as the poor boy's wolf whimpered

I couldn't take it and picked a rock from somewhere and threw it directly at the wild wolf. Given the amount of times I threw daggers, I hit the wolf with a huge force as I turned to look at snarling as it left the boy's wolf alone.

It started charging to me and I held my dagger tightly in my grasp. 'Just a little closer.' I thought to myself. Closer...Closer...Yes! It came closer to me and I slide beneath it fitting myself in between the distance he had with the floor as he lunged.

I stabbed my dagger into hid body and slides it all the way down to his megs and he fell with whimper. I stood back up with the bloody dagger in hand.
