<The truth>

(next morning)

{Octavia}

The smell of fear finally stopped as the door to the dungeons opened and closed. Erica came out with her bloodied hands and messy hair.

"Had fun the whole night?" I smirked slightly catching her off guard before chuckling slightly and nodded. My expression turned to worried once I see how exhausted she has been. "You sure you're okay?"

I can tell how she forced a smile and nodded before walking away but I held onto her arm. "It's fine to not be okay.. you just lost your brothers." I see some tears starting to form in her eyes as she blinked it away and smiled once again, a more genuine one this time, "I'll be fine. It's what they would want."

I gave a slight smile as I looked at her again "Can you tell the rest to be here by full moon. It's tradition." She nodded walking away as I sighed walking down to the house to hear Erica's voice again, "Octavia? Someone's here to see you."

I sped down to see Elena standing at the door way and Elijah with his shirt and suit slightly ripped. I nodded at Erica "Thanks Erica, I'll take it from here." She smiled walking out of the doorway.

"I knew you'd make the right choice Elena, before I rip your boyfriends' throat out. But brother you do look wrecked." I smiled sarcastically.

"Thank you for that compliment Sister. Well, first things first.I'm going to need a change of clothing." Elijah said casually walking right in with Elena following behind him.

"Well do come right in." I said sarcastically shutting the door behind me, "I'm pretty sure Alis.." I was cut off by a muffled scream making Elena jump up slightly. "What was that?" She asked looking around as I forced a smile "Nothing you need to worry about. Excuse me for a moment."

I walked down to the basement seeing Alison biting the hunter making him look pale and drained. I coughed slightly and she looked up at me, her mouth covered in his blood as the hunter fell limply. "Heal him. We need him till the full moon. And do you have a spare suit from your exes?"

She wiped off the blood on her face and bit her wrist forcing the hunter to drink while keeping eye contact with me, nodding, "Yeah, in my second drawer on the left."

I nodded and rushed to get the extra suit and went to the living room and threw it at Elijah. He nodded and said a thank you before going to change. Elena looking at me curiously for minutes till I can't take it anymore. "What are you staring at, Doppelgänger?"

"Who was screaming earlier?" Elena asked. "We have to feed Don't we." I shrugged pouring out a glass of bourbon. Before Elena could say anything, someone spoke out.

"So I assume that the Martin witches are no longer with us?" Elijah says as he walks into the living with the suit on. Somehow fits him perfectly.

"No. I'm sorry." Elena breathed out

"And Katerina? She would have been released from my compulsion when I died." Elijah didn't look up only touching the fabric of the sofa.

"Klaus took her. We think she may be dead."

"I doubt that. Not Klaus's style. Death would be too easy for her after what she did." Elijah finally looked up at Elena and I scoffed "Yeah like what? Running from a psychopath trying to kill her? Poor girl showed up at my doorstep pleading me to help save her from Niklaus."
