Athanasius

Napaliligiran ng mga bulaklak ang isang magandang Binibini na may mahabang puting buhok, ang kanyang malamig na asul na mga mata ay puno ng mga katanungan.

“This isn’t Aralon. I can’t feel any familiar presence in this world.” Saad ng dalaga

Isang kulay asul na Fiscio ang lumulutang-lutang sa tabi ng dalaga.

“Anong nangyari? Paano ako nakarating dito?” tanong nya sa sarili

“So you are finally awake..”

Natigilan si Charmaine matapos marinig ang di pamilyar na tinig sa kanyang isipan.

“Sino ka??” tanong ng dalaga

“Athanasius..” Simpleng tugon ng tinig

Napalingon si Charm sa kasama nyang Fiscio.. Kalmado ito kaya naman alam ni Charm na tama ang draconic instinct nya, walang panganib sa paligid.

“Isn’t it common courtesy to give me your name after I give you mine?”

“Charmaine.”

“Nice to meet you, little Charmaine.”

Tumango lamang si Charm..
“Nasaan ka?” tanong ni Charm dito

“Around you..” tugon ng tinig

Charm scattered her dragon senses around.

“Huh?” nagulat sya sa nadiskubre nya

Nasa isa syang isla. Isang isla sa likod ng isang dambuhalang pagong!

“Don’t be scared little one. I’m an ancient beast that already grew tired of this boring world. I won’t harm you.”

Ang tinig sa isipan nya ay ang pagong!

“Where are we?” tanong ni Charm

“The dwellers of this world call me the Vanishing Island. We are in the middle of the Sea of Nowhere.”

“Vanishing Island? Sea of Nowhere??” nagtatakang tanong ni Charm

“I saw you fell from the sky. You are not from this world, aren’t  you?”

“No.. I’m from Aralon..” tugon ni Charm.. Wala syang nasesense na panganib mula sa pagong..

“Aralon.. How nostalgic.. It’s been hundreds of years since I last heard of that World.. Not since Crystal arrived in this world in the same fashion that you did..”

“Crystal??” tanong ni Charm.. Pusible ba na ito ang nawawala nyang pinsan?

“Yes. A brave girl who also fell from the sky. She created storms on every corner of this world hundreds of years ago..”

Hundreds of years ago?? Impusibleng ito ang pinsan nya na naglaho just a few years ago..

“Where exactly am I?” tanong na lang ni Charm

“This is the world of Viribus. And as I said earlier, this is the sea of Nowhere, the boundary between the main continents and the Continent of No Return.”
