A/N: Back again! I appreciate your continued patience with me! As I've shared a couple months ago, my current company is getting acquired in a few short months, so to stay ahead of the game, your girl has been working her tail off. I have been extremely busy and it's a hard time physically and mentally to stay my best self.

Call it a writer's sensitive soul, but if something is bothering me, I cannot sit still and create a happy, enjoyable story. I must go and have an anxiety attack and overthink scenarios that will probably never happen irl.

So I've been working extra hard at the gym, cooking better, spending more time with my husband, and just focusing on being appreciative of everything that I do have.

With that being said, I have so many ideas and outlines and stories I want to tell, and I'm hoping that once the slower summer season at work comes around, I can focus more on my stories.

Enjoy!

There was definitely something to be said for private travel. Besides the comfortable, smooth ride, we got to bypass waiting in line and the crowded feeling I normally got once the airplane landed and everyone stood anxiously, fighting their way off the airplane first. "I could see why you recommended this-" I motioned toward the smiling staff and the otherwise empty luxurious jet. "-over being cramped in the car for hours on end."

"The luxuries that come with the band are the easiest to get used to." Jesse agreed as he helped me down the steps. "Are you nervous?"

I shook my head. "I don't know what to expect, but I am confident in my relationship with my father. Whether or not I end up liking his new bride, what we have won't change."

He let out a low whistle. "Ever the realist. Very impressive." As he spoke, two large men walked up to us, looking intimidating as hell in their black sunglasses and pristine clothing.

"You hired security?" I asked, hiking my brow in the air.

Jesse grinned. "I'm a celebrity, baby. Can't risk a couple fans getting out of line."

I squinted my eyes as I looked up at him. "Who even knows we're up here?! I didn't tell anyone."

Still smiling, he pointed to the glass windows that overlook the planes. "Everyone now." Following his finger, my gaze landed on the rows of people pressed up against the clear material, their sounds muffled by the glass but their mouths moving and eyes darting back and forth between our pair. A few had their phones out, no doubt snapping pictures of us, while most just waved and tried to get Jesse to look at them.

"Fuck me." I groaned, raising a hand to cover my face, while I allowed the bodyguards to lead us.

This was London and Callie's territory. They were the ones in the limelight, walking around with hired security in public places and getting their pictures taken. While I was the ordinary one, the nerd that moved unrecognized through any crowd - unremarkable and not the least bit interesting.

But now, there was no ducking from sight as the flashes increased when we stepped inside.

The mob of people moved toward us as one, and while I did my best to cower behind one of the giant men I was now thankful for, Jesse confidently stepped up to his fans. "Hi, sweetheart. What's your name?" He asked a girl, as he scribbled something on the magazine she was holding out for him. "Beautiful." He noted, moving toward the next group. "Hi! Where are you all flying out to?"

He chatted with his fans, taking picture after picture, signing so many documents I was worried about his wrist, all the while, the smile never faltered from his handsome face.
