2 weeks have already passed since Vaani has been employed as a worker at the Royal Household.
She had sadly already been on duty as her learning process was over.
She couldn't have been happier when the Queen lady-in-waiting handled her the task of cleaning the occupied rooms of the palace.
At least, she didn't receive the toilet duties.
She felt like Bond, James Bond on this mission Royal gossips.
Till now everything was going smoothly. Camila and her, have bonded a bit.
Vaani found out that Camila was one year older than her and had drop out of university to work at the Palace.
She had been able to contact Eric, providing him with the classic excuse that she needed to settle down first, then concentrate on the mission at hand.
Vaani was heading towards the East Wing- where according to Tom, lived the Royal Family and their constant guests.
She was walking along one the main corridor when suddenly a group of ladies came out from a room.
They were all dressed in silky dresses flowing down to their ankles, high heels, expensive jewellery around their necks and were giggling among themselves.
Last time Vaani checked the time, it was around 7.00 a.m. It was way too early for a ball and neither did the Palace organised an event nor was there a wedding.
So what in Hellheim's name were they going wearing ball gowns?
It was when one of the girls spoke up that she realised she had been staring.
"What are you staring at peasant? Our beauty? Thanks but we already know we look amazing!"
The other minions just chuckled at this.
Vaani innocently replied:
"Oh dear no! I was not staring at your beauty- maybe because you have non but I was wondering what event you all ladies were attending to; with all those jewelleries and make-up!"
They all gasped in horrified shock and glared at her.
The girl who spoke up- appears to be the leader- let out a silent cry and yelled at her,
"You little bitch! How dare you speak to us like that? Do you know who we are? And who are you to speak to us? We are way more higher than you!
Understand it now, and never talk back to us!"Vaani stared at her face for a long minute before collapsing into a fit of loud laughters. She just couldn't help it.
The girl's face was red and Vaani could already see fumes coming out of of her ears and imagined her hairs all in the air like she has been electrocuted.
