I called Kennedy. No answer. So I texted her something that would make her come over.

Kennedy: Don't you have a girl to find? -10:01 am

My mom opened the door. They both looked each other up and down.

She left out. Kennedy sat on the couch.

"What's up. How have you been ?" I asked.

"Pretty good. Jahking jr been good too."

"His name still-"

"Yes because no matter what he's still yours."

I rolled my eyes. "So hows your dad been?" I said trying to get to the point.

"He's been great or whatever. Let's talk about us though."

"Did you ever find your bitch?" Kennedy asked.

"Yeah they were close apparently. Right before her disappearance." I said.

"Maybe for you. A acting gig." Kennedy said.

"Nah..he was giving him checks."

"So you're blaming it on my dad?!" She yelled.

I looked down.

"Fuck you. That's all you brought me here for?!" She yelled.

It was true.

She kissed my cheek. "I'll ask him about it."

"I wish we could fuck but I'm on my period." Kennedy said.

"Damn that sucks." I lied.

"Yeah but I'll be back okay." She said heading out the door.

I locked the door and went to my room. Deshae texted me.

Deshae: Aye come to my kick back tomorrow. - 11:45 am.

Jahking: Cool slide me the address.

Kennedy's P.O.V

I went in the house and saw my mom cooking. I asked her where dad was. She told me he was depressed and wanted alone time.

I knew exactly where he was. I drove to this small cabin that's in the middle of no where. He goes there to think.I got to it and saw my dad outside.

"Kennedy what are you doing here? I told you not to come here anymore."

"Why daddy? I know there's something going on. Why won't you just tell me." I said.

"You have no idea what you're talking about." My dad said.

I walked past and went in the cabin.

"Wait. Once you go in there you will want to unsee it." My dad said.

"You've been coming here a lot lately."

I looked around and saw nothing. So I went down stairs. My dad followed me and tried to stop me. I got to a door that was locked.

"Dad What is down there?!" I yelled.

"Calm down. Nothing. Just another project." He said.

I grabbed his wallet. "Go shopping. My treat."

I grabbed the money. "I really hope she's not-"

"Who?" He asked.

"Alessia. She better not be down there. I don't like her but that's sick if she's down there."

"Wherever she is..she's handled. I'm a good caregiver"
