"Are you sure you're ok?" Jahking asked.

"Yes, I'm fine."

We went to a diner and ate. The whole time I was scared Rick was gonna show up. I kept looking around.

"Chill Lessi." Jahking said.

"We're fine."

I ordered my food and put my head down. I listened in on Ron and Jahking talking.

"You got enough money for this?" Jahking asked.

"I got 700 on me."

"That's not gonna last long."

"We will last." Ron said.

"We gotta go back to Long Beach. I can get some cash that can last us a few months."

"No!" I said.

"Lessi come one we need the money." Jahking said.

"I don't wanna get kidnapped again." I said.

"I understand but it will be real quick."

"Whatever."

We ate and left. I got in the car. The baby kept crying. I really wanted to get sleep.I didn't sleep for the rest of the time. We made it to Long Beach even though I told them I didn't want to go. I saw my old house, nobody was at home. We arrived at King's house. I started feeling emotional because I haven't been back in 2 years.

"I'm sorry we had to do this. I'm just making sure my moms is good and we can leave."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever lets go in."

"I'll stay out here. Y'all can go in." Ron said

"Alright. Cmon Alessia."

I got out the car. We went up the steps. I saw Jahking trying to hide his tears. I rubbed his back. "It's okay King lets go in."

Jahking knocked. We waited a few moments and Farah opened the door. "Jahking is that you? Alessia? Wait is that Alessia?"

"Yes it's us." I said.

"Oh my gosh! Mommy!!!" Farah yelled.

"Shush. Jahking said."

We went in and I sat on the couch. The house looked the same but a bit messier. I heard Jahking's mom going down the steps. I got a bit nervous.

"Oh my gosh my babies." She ran to us crying.

She hugged us so tight. It made me think about my mom. I started to tear up. She's treated me like a daughter more then my parents ever have.

"Where were you?? I was worried sick! Oh my gosh let me get you too food. Is that a baby?!" Arlene said.

"We're fine."

"Yes, this is our daughter." I said.

"Oh my goodness! Where were you guy?!"

"Mom calm down."

We explained to Arlene where we were. I never told them how I got to Rick though. Arlene held on to the baby. She was angry but I think the baby made her feel better.

"I just can't believe he did this to you two. I wanna kill him." Arlene said.

"I know momma. Are you getting better. I know you were sick."

"Oh honey I'm fine. I know you two are safe. Now let's go."

"Where we going?" I asked.

"The police." Arlene said.

"No momma. We can't." Jahking said.

"And why's that?!" Arlene asked.

"Ricks working with the police." I said.

"Oh lord. What do I do?" Arlene said.

"We're on the run. I'm gonna get cash and we're gonna leave." Jahking said.

"No! You will not leave me again. I need you two. You're not taking my grand baby." Arlene said.

"Momma we can't stay here. He knows where we live."

"So we will leave. I can't loose you." Arlene said. " We will go back home."

"Home?" Jahking asked.

"My home. Guam."

Oh hell no. Not with Jahking grandpa racist ass.

"I know you hate daddy but he'll have to deal with it."

"I don't hate him ma." Jahking said standing up. "He's just a terrible person."

I nodded. "I don't think going to Guam would be a good idea."

"So we will go somewhere else."

"Like what?"

"Virgin Islands. Alessias never been. Just for now."

Jahking looked at me. "Are you okay with this?"

I nodded. "What about Ron he needs somewhere to stay too. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't be out." I said.

"Yeah let's go get him." Jahking said.

"You can go outside. I'm staying here." I said.

"Okay."

Jahking went outside. He came back in he looked really scared. "Ron's gone."

"What?!" I asked.

"He's gone. The cars still there but he's gone."

"No way. Not Ron." I said tearing up. "Did they take him?"

Arlene hugged me tight.

"Maybe. We gotta go." Jahking said.

"Without Ron?" I asked.

"Yes." Arlene said.

"I feel like I got close to him but we gotta go before we get kidnapped again too. These niggas don't play."
