It was the Thursday after meeting with Spencer Reid, and I was clocking out from work. I yelled to my boss to have a good night and left the building, hearing a goodnight in return. It was around 8pm, and I was really hungry.

I had my jacket wrapped around myself and gripped it tighter as the wind picked up some more. I looked up at the stars as I walked to my car and grinned. I paused at the bus stop and whispered, "I miss you Jason..."

I heard footsteps and my name. "Sierra?" I spun around to see Spencer. I gasped and smiled. "Doctor Reid! Hi!" He smiled and his dark eye crinkled slightly. "What are you doing out here so late?" He walked up to me and I replied, "I worked late because one of the employees went home sick today. What about you?"

He said, "Just got back from a case." I gasped and grabbed his hands. "Really?! What was it about?" I grinned and his face was confused. I laughed shyly and removed my hands. "Sorry, Jason obviously can't tell me about the cases, and I got curious. I always got excited whenever I got a letter from him."

I fumbled my hands, feeling insecure and heard Spencer say, "You know, the way you look down and mess with your hands, it shows you're insecure and nervous." I glanced up and bit my lip. "And you biting your lip means that you aren't sure how to reply, but you feel like you should say something." I laughed and felt my eyes tear up slightly out of sadness.

I don't like this. I don't like this. I don't like this. If he keeps going I'll have a nervous break down. I don't like this!

"Ah, sorry, I didn't mean to say all of that. I tend to blabber supposedly useless facts, but really it's actually interesting! Like how the chemicals that are in chocolate increase the consumer's love chemicals, but it's not only found in chocolate! It's also found in-"

"Peas!" We said at the same time.

He smiled and said, "See what I mean?" I giggled, my eyes drying up. "No, all information is good information." I smiled at him. I opened my mouth but closed it. I shook my head and laughed, "Um, I was going to get something to eat. D...do you want to join me?" He nods. "Yeah!"

We walked together to an Italian place down the street. "I come here all the time. The owner is a friend of the family, so he tends to treat me as one of his nieces." I grinned as we walked. That's when Spencer launched into facts.

"Well, in Italy, the family is actually the centre of the social structure and provides a stabilizing influence for its members. In the north, generally only the nuclear family lives together; while in the south, the extended family often resides together in one house and the family provides, not only emotional support, but financial support as well to the members of the family!" I stared at him with my mouth open. "You remember all of that?" He replied with, "Well, I have an eidetic memory, so yeah...I remember all of that." I grinned and looked ahead of us.

"Well, that explains why he is always handing me a few dollars whenever I drop in." I felt like I was being watched and I looked up at Spencer. "Doctor Reid? Is something the matter?" He shook his head and looked down as the restaurant came into view. "It's just...usually, every one on the team would just say, 'Not now, Reid.' But...you aren't pushing me away."

I looked up at him as we approached the door. "I guess I just don't want to knock you on who you are. You are Doctor Reid, you need a little fun with your facts, even when those around you don't get it. Just be yourself, you'll be fine." I smiled and stepped in.

"Sierra!" I heard. I giggled as Joe, the Italian owner hugged me. "How are you?" I grinned and said, "Wonderful. Could I get a table for two?" I turned to notice Spencer was in deep thought, still standing in the cold October air. I opened the door and said, "Hey, you coming?"

His head snapped up and he smiled softly. "Yeah."

I laughed as he launched into one of his lectures of how accurate Star Trek is. "Despite the time frame it was filmed in, it was pretty spot on!" Then I got a physics lesson on top of an English lecture on when Hamlet was written. I enjoyed it, even though I didn't speak much. It was good to see Spencer as himself, a smart, (not to mention cute) clever male of the age of 24.

"Reid, you're brilliant." I complimented. He blushed slightly and said, stutteringly, "O-Oh, thank you." I grabbed his hand that sat on the table and said sweetly, "I truly mean that, Doctor Reid." He smiled and said, "Call me Spencer." I shook my head. "You need someone to call you Doctor. Introduce yourself as a doctor, not an agent. You need people to realize that you aren't some kid who just got off of a desk job and into the field that day. Make a mark on yourself, okay?" He blinked but nodded.

Joe's wife, Rebecca, came by. "Today's dinner is on us. Y'all take care!" "Thank you, Rebecca!" She smiled and kissed my temple, then walked off. I stood and said, "I better get going. Goodnight, Doctor Reid."

"Goodnight Sierra."

I got into my car, and watched as Doctor Reid got into his. I sighed and threw my head back. I smiled at the thought of seeing him again on Saturday.

"These two days better go by fast."
