"Alright, which gate are we going to?" Rob asked as we looked around the airport.
"G," I answered and lead them to the terminal in the Tampa Airport. We walked up and showed our tickets to the security guards, then went and waited for the next tram to arrive. When it did mom and I took one of the seats, while Rob and dad stud holding on to the polls. We were doing the best way to travel, princess travel, had only a backpack/ purse on and that was it. It has been two and half months since I decided I wanted to be a princess. Wow, still the most unnatural and natural thing I can say. I have been studying everything I can about the kingdom, and the important people in the country. The odd guy trying to convince me I was a princess, is actually a great guy. He has been the one to teach me and help arrange everything. Rob actually really likes him because he is strait up a dandy man.
Then the train stopped on the other side. We all got up and started the long trek through security. We have had to keep the whole me being a princess on the down low, from all family and friends. It wasn't hard. No graduations, or birthdays, so I didn't talk to my relatives at all. My friends were a little harder, but we have kept it a secret. I am worried about getting too overwhelmed with people or other things, it happens easier than I would like to admit. Though, he was nice and agreed that they wouldn't make me change or that they wouldn't make me do anything I wasn't ready for. I think he means that; I don't know if everyone will share his sentiment. I am also worried about the amount of people I will be around at any given moment. But, one room will probably be the size of my house so, I think I will manage. I did tell my therapist about the situation, a lot. I couldn't tell who was more surprised by the fact that I was royal, me or him.
"Ok, you good?" Rob asked, seeing if I had all my stuff situated, I nodded and we started to walk to where we were supposed to be, after just finishing the security check point.
"Ok, let's see, where is our plane?" Dad said looking at his ticket, "Well, I have never seen that before."
"What?" Mom asked him, looking at his ticket.
"The ticket says that are plane is somehow under a negative number." Dad explained, baffled.
"And, there are no negative numbers on the board, or anywhere else." Rob pointed out as we all looked around for some kind of answer.
"Don't worry, I will just call Theodore." I said getting out my phone to call him, tying to keep calm. He answered on the first ring.
"Hello, are you all alright?" he asked urgently, not having liked leaving us to get to the plane on our own in the first place, but we had convinced that it was better security for us to not go with him.
"Yeah, we are just having trouble finding our gate. How do you get to a negative gate?" I asked him through the phone, making sure he knew we were unharmed.
"Oh, of course, I should have told you before, my apologies. You just follow the numbers to gate one and then keep going till you see two doors, that should have a negative sign above it. It will be a lounge of sorts, there are only five flights that can leave there, so not many people will be there. Just grab something to eat and relax before the plane. I will meet you there. And please do not board the plane without me there. Sorry I am running this late as well." He explained quickly, clearly running.
"Yeah, you are good. Thanks for the directions. We will see you there." I said before hanging up and looking back at my family.
"Ok, just follow me." So, we all set off to follow the directions that I was just given.
