Oh, am I talkin' too loud? Sometimes I get over excited, shoot off at the mouth I never has a group of friinds before I promise that I'll make y'all proud" I sang out Hamilton's lines as I read file after file, in my office singing along to the song, "My Shot" as it tuned on, from the Hamilton Original Broadway Cast Recording. Man can Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the cast sing.

"Let's get this guy in front of a crowd," My head shot up from around the piles of files and a labtop screen that I have been working on. That was not my voice. I looked to the door. That is when I saw her chuckling at the gro froanm my reaction. Her cheeks glowing slightly from the red hue that sat on them. Her hair was loose, framing her face. She was in a navy blue dress with white embroidered flowers, and a white drape shawl. Her legs looked really long in the short dress. And her feet donned small white high heels that rapped eligantly around her ankle and toes. She was stunning. And I was very stunned. This did not escape her notice.

"I am going to guess by your reaction, or lack there of that you are glad it is me who walked in." She said, snapping me out of my trance. I am getting faster at snapping out of them, just not fast enough.

"That depends on how much you heard, and if I accidentally worked into a date, I forgot was happening." I told her as she sat down in one of the chairs in front of my desk.

"The whole song, and no, I just thought I would stop by and see if you wanted to do something." Cyn told me with a small smile.

"Oh," I said not knowing what to say after that.

"You sing really pretty. And I didn't know you liked musical theater." Cyn continued.

"Yeah, I love it. That feeling where you are a part of something, and every show will be a little different, the music, life and energy. It is magical. It is the only place where the only light is on the stage. It is also smart, like all of the sets, work to make places, multiples from one thing. It is inginuitive and catchy." I said with contorting in to a glowing range of intrigue.

"Wow, that is great. What got you into musical theater?" Cyn asked leaning on the desk.

"In elementry and part of 6th grade, I was bullied." I told her.

"Oh, I have never heard of a Princess, that has been bullied." Cyn thought out loud.

"Well, I wasn't a princess then. And anyone can be bullied. Man, can you imagine what everyone that I went to school with, that can remember me, thinks of me now." I say thinking back to all the people that asked questions and would be nice to me.

"I'm sorry, I can't really relate. I wish there was something I could say to help."

"That is fine, see, that year, my best friend had my back to the extent of flipping off the girl that was bullying me. She got so mad, that I never spoke to her again. Halloween is still my favorite holiday, because of it." Smiling at the old memory.

"Ok, so, that still doesn't explain what that has to do with musical theater." Cyn said cautious and confused.

"Oh, well, that year I was in a chorus class. Basically, it was a blow off class, with two perfomances. I think I drew more in that class, than sang." I got a small chuckle from that," But we did musical songs for the second perfomance. One of the songs, that are so well burned into my mind that if I hear it randomly playing I still sing every word, was "For Good" from the Broadway Musical "Wicked," written by Stephen Schwartz and sung most notably by Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. When I heard the song, I just realized that it spoke to me. It reminded me about how I had dealt with my bully. The words, "I don't know if you have changed me for the better, but you have changed me for good," they made sense, it was how I felt about the situation I was in. And I desperately wanted to know what the story was, what lead them to that song. So, that birthday, my parents got me tickets to the Broadway adaptation of the Lion King. And I have loved musicals ever since." I finished explaining to her.

"Wow, that is actually really cool. Did you ever get to see Wicked?"

"Yeah, the following year actually, it exceeded expectations, there was a giant steampunk dragon." I told her.

"So, what else have you done in New York?" Cyn asked.

"Nothing, I have never been to New York. I think that you keep forgetfing that before all this," I waved my finger around the room, " I was lower middle class. There is no way I could have gone to New York for fun randomly."

"Oh, right well then, I guess, at some point we will have to change that." Cyn said almost suggesting that hoping a plane to New York is as simple as just hoping a plane to New York.

"Ok, well, I am hungry. You want to raid the kitchen and take a break outside, before I have to finish all of this." I said motioning to the desk.

"Oww, sounds fun, I am in." We stood up and left the office to have a nice little break.
