I Let You Slip Away

 "Come on Bakugou! Grab on!" A certain redhead screamed as he and two other boys flew through the air with great speed.

Bakugou looked down and smiled as his hands opened. As a blue haired man reached for him the hot head shot up into the air. The feeling of his heart pumping filled Bakugou with determination as he flew higher and higher. The heat of the blasts becoming increasingly hotter. The boy flew up with an array of colors bursting behind him mostly consisting of red, yellow, and orange. Smoke was following close behind and a huge crater was left in the ground from where the boy took off. He held out his hand to grab a hold of Kirishima's who was only a few meters away.

"Someone get one of our long-range fighters!" Shigaraki yelled and the others just looked at each other clueless.

"Move out of my way," Someone said firmly and everyone moved over to reveal Dabi was he stood tall and held up his hand to aim at Bakugou.

Dabi held up his hand and aimed for the flying Bakugou. Soon a light blue flame came out from Dabi's quirk and flew through the sky. Soon it caught up to the Bakugou and hit him right on which set a smile to Dabi's face. Knowing he hit the target Shigaraki let out an evil cackle as he watched everything unfold right there. That was the same moment that Kirishima was about to grab onto the blond's hand but everything fell apart.

"Bakugou!" Kirishima yelled as he tried to still grab a hold of the boy's hand, but he slipped and accidentally let go not making it in time.

Bakugou flinched as the hit knocked him off course and he went spiraling to the ground falling faster and faster every second. Soon he smashes to the ground with great force. All while Midoriya, Kirishima, and Iida watch helplessly in the air. Kirishima looks away sadly as Iida and the green haired boy fly far away and leave the battle behind. Todoroki and Momo retreating with them as they both use their quirks to get away and leave it to the pros.

The Pros kept on the villains not paying any attention to the girl sneaking up on Bakugou who was in a lot of pain. Toga stepped forward and saw the injured boy laying on the floor lifeless but still breathing. He had clearly broken a few bones and Toga was surprised he was still alive. Toga smiles at the sight of all the blood as she walked down to Bakugou and picked him up. All the girl had to do was whistle as a purple portal showed up right in front of her on her command. Toga smiled as she looked back at the pro heroes. One, in particular, spotted the girl and turned away from the battle to face her.

"Give Young Bakugou back villain!" All Might yelled but all Toga did was a laugh and held up a knife to the boy's neck.

"Don't step closer or we'll see how much blood this boy has left," Toga said with a crazy smile letting a few giggles escape her lips as she held the knife closer and closer to Bakugou's neck.

All Might knew that Toga was fast and even if he knew how to defeat her. He couldn't put the life of one of his students on the line. So all All might could do was step back which made Toga smile and lower the knife just a few centimeters. She backed up into the portal bring the unconscious Bakugou with her.

Well... She thought he was unconscious, Bakugou watched through his squinted eyes as All Might left him for dead. He watched as the person he looked up to all his life just stepped back and watched him be carried away by some villain. His idol left his for dead as he didn't even try to save him. Bakugou let a tear slip as he was carried through the dark purple portal and to his doom. 

Meanwhile, Kirishima and the others have already landed and were far away from the battle. But they were safe just like the pros heroes wanted. But they all looked down in defeat as they weren't able to save their classmate and best friend.

"What do you think happened to him?" Momo asked to break the awkward silence they were standing in.

"I don't know... All I saw was him hitting the ground. I couldn't watch it anymore so I turned my attention to landing us somewhere safe," Iida said as he took off the fake mustache that was a part of his disguise.

"Are you alright Kirishima? You haven't talked since we landed," Midoriya said as he looked over to his friend who was looking at the ground sadly.

"I just let him go... I let him slip from my grasp. He was right there but I was too weak to do anything but yell his name. If I had just tried harder or if I was just a little faster I could have grabbed him and we would all be safe... But I was too weak to even save my best friends," Kirishima said as he let a tear slip from his eye and he started to shake because of the tears. 

Momo felt bad for the boy and brought him into a hug. She let him cry on her shoulder as Kirishima's body shook from all the tears. All Momo could do right now was hug the boy and hope that he stops crying soon not caring if her shoulder was getting soaked. Iida patted the boys back know what he must be going through as he had lost his brother to villains.

Deku and Shoto just watched as their friend broke down in front of them. It was sad knowing that Bakugou will probably never survive living with the villains. That they would probably break him so badly he wouldn't be able to remember his own name. But there was a little glimmer of hope in all of them.

All of them hoping that Bakugou will be alright.
