They're not coming back for me (Kiribaku)

I Won... Finally

Soon they finished eating and they started walking over to the park. But before they kept walked Mina had pulled Kirishima over to talk to him. Sero took Kirishima's place behind Bakugou's wheelchair. Mishima gave Mina a weird look but when he saw the smirk on her face he knew she was plotting something.

"So... You and Bakugou! You guys seem pretty close since he got back from the hospital. Even when we saved him from that huge robot. How many moves have you made on him?" Mina asked making Kirishima turn best red as he took out the bag from the aquarium and pulled out what he had bought.

"I got this for Bakugou and got myself something. I got him a red shark plushie that I found. I saw him eyeing it when we arrived at the aquarium. I also bought this yellow puffer fish plushie for myself. I also kind of slept with him... NOT in a wrong way. Just comforted him. That's all Mina," Kirishima said his face turning redder by the second.

"Are you sure that was it? Cause your turning a little red there Kiri... You guys not confessing to each other is really painful to watch," Mina said only to get a playful punch to her shoulder.

"Mina!" Kiri groaned with a chuckle following as they were walking back to the others.

Mina and Kirishima just laughed at each other and soon went back with Bakugou and the others. When Kirishima took Bakugou from Sero he saw something. Sero and Denki has smug looks on their faces while Bakugou was beat red and looked confused. He looked cute to Kirishima. But Kirishima quickly shook the thought away and kept pushing Bakugou towards the park.

The group was hanging out at the park now.  Things were really fun there. Childhood memories we brought back to life. But for Bakugou he couldn't help but remember the days where he would bully other kids. Beat them up and hurt them. Whether it was physical or verbal. He just sighed as he pushed those thoughts aside. He was here to have fun.

Bakugou was sitting in his wheelchair with Kirishima sitting on a park bench nearby. Kaminari was swinging on a nearby swing with Sero. Both of them trying to get a high as possible. Sometimes almost falling off of the swing set.

With a smile Mina and Jiro had climbed the nearby play set. They were laughing and running around the metal playset. Soon Sero and Denki jumped off of the swings and went to join the girls on the playset. Things escalated and out of nowhere they were playing tag. Bakugou couldn't help but smile as he watched his idiot friends being kids... Not like they already were.

"Do you want to go play with them? You know... On the play set? Like get up there and have fun? I know it wasn't really your thing before. But do you want to try?" Kirishima asked as he saw how the blond looked at them.

"What do you mean by that? I would really like to go and hang out with you guys up there. But how can I go up there? I can't move my legs kiri. Or did you already forget because you have brain damage," Bakugou asked only to be picked up in Kirishma's arms and brought over to the play set.

Kirishima brought Bakugou over to the playset and set him down on the high platform. With a smile the others helped his lean against the metal railing. Soon Bakugou was sitting on the railing and looked out to the sunset that could be seen over the houses nearby. Everything seemed to slow as Bakugou looked around.

Bakugou couldn't remember the last time he felt this feeling. Like he was on the top of the world. It was like all the power he had lost was back with him. At that one moment the boy had a surge of belief and determination. He wanted to make others proud. Maybe make himself proud as well.

The blond took the railing with both his hands and pulled up with all of his might. His arms were burning but he didn't stop. He forced himself up and soon his knees locked and he stood up. Kirishima took the time to look over and saw the boy up and standing. He was about to go help the blond but someone stopped him.

Sero who had been watching the boy trying to stand knew the look in the blonde eyes. He was determined to do this by himself. He saw the same look in the blonde's eyes when they were fighting in the Sports Festival. When fighting the villains in the forest. Even when watching Bakugou when out on patrol. During training and when he ever fought someone else.

Bakugou want going to stop until he made it.

He was not going down. No matter what happened.
Bakugou let out a grunt of pain as he let go of the metal railing. The blonde's legs were shaking as he didn't have anything to carry the weight. He wasn't numb anymore. He was in pain. It was sore and it started to sting. It was like the feeling when your foot fell asleep when not moving it.

Bakugou soon fell to his knees a wince following.

Kirishima really wanted to help Bakugou. But he didn't. He knew this was something the boy had to figure out on his own. Soon Bakugou was down on one knee. He pushed himself up and he soon standing on his two feet again. He was shaking but he was stable. He took a deep breath and was soon ready to try again.

Soon he took a step towards the redhead.

Then another...

The blond was walking again...

Bakugou did it...

He could do anything when he wanted one thing...

To make people proud and win...

He did it...

He won.

Bakugou won.
