Joes p.o.v

I had very little sleep last night, I was so worried about Chloe. She was acting really strange and I just could figure out why. I was down stairs helping Chloe's mum make breakfast. "So you and chloe eh? I knew it from the start" I had no idea what Chloe's mum was talking about "you knew what from the start?" She chuckled and looked at me "that you to would end up together, to be honest with you joe your the only boyfriend me and Darren have every really liked" I felt quite honoured by this.

We were all about to sit down to eat breakfast when chloe walked in looking very worried and nervous "Morning guys, I'm so sorry but we have to leave like now, my landlords just rang me and told me someone tried to break into my apartment last night so I need to go check everything's okay". I knew she was lying. She was biting her lip and she always did this when she was lying. I didn't say anything though because I didn't want to start and argument.

We packed our cases and Chloe's dad dropped us off at the train station, chloe was very quite on the train journey back, all she did Was look out the window, when I asked her a question it was just one word answers, something serious must be bothering her. We finally got back to her apartment, "Chloe come here" she walked towards me and say inbetween my legs "Chloe, you've been acting really strange these past couple of days, I know your apartment didn't get broken into and I know that something's bothering you so are you going to tell me?" I finished my sentence and she just burst into tears, it was heartbreaking.

"Ay, ay why you crying?" She calmed down abit and started to tell me what was bothering her "Do you remember luke? the lad I went out with last year" i defiantly remembered him, he was a right dickhead "well all through out our relationship he abused me, he would slap me, kick me, punch me, call me names, and then when he was done hurting me, he would just use me for a quick shag and act like nothing had happend, this broke me joe. Mentally and physically, he said that if I ever told someone what he did he would kill my parents, I finally broke up with him last year, I'm sorry I lied to you about my virginity. Ive never told a soul about what happened not even Louise or zoe. Just being in that house brought back them horrifying memorise and it was too much to handle. I'm sorry joe" she couldn't even finish her sentence before she started crying again, this broke my heart, I can't believe I never realised that he was this bad! I swear to god if I ever see that prick again I'm going to kill him!!

I picked her up and placed her on my lap, and just held her in my arms "Ssshhh, your okay now I'm here. No ones gonna hurt you again, your safe now, I love you beautiful" she looked up at me, her eyes glistening from the tears "I love you to" she kissed me and I instantly kissed back, she pulled away and was looking at my t-shirt "Omg, joe I'm so sorry look at your top" I looked down a chuckled, I don't know why she was saying sorry.

"it's alright gorgeous, I'll just stick it in your washing basket." We then finished the night off with an Indian takeaway, which was delicious, then we watched some films and fell to sleep.
