Chapter 13

Chloe's p.o.v

I woke up around 11 o'clock, I don't normally wake up this late but I didn't get back to sleep until 5, joe wasn't in bed so I suppose he was already up. I walked out of our bedroom and down stairs to have some breakfast. I stopped halfway down the stairs because I heard joe on the phone. "Hey Louise, I was wondering if you, Matt and darcy wanted to come down for a couple days? As a surprise for chloe, zoe and Alfie are coming aswell. You can have the spare room though because you have Darcy. Okay, yep. See you in a couple hours bye."

I stayed on the stairs for a couple more seconds before walking down the rest of them and into the kitchen. "Morning love" joe said as I got a bowl out of the cupboard. "Morning" he came up to me and wrapped his hands round my waist "what you got planned rest of this week then princess?" I thought I'd play a little prank on joe. "Erm Im gonna drive up to see Louise and stay at hers rest of week I think, do you want to come?" His face went bright red "you can't go to Louise's, Darcys poorley." I knew he was lying. "Well I need to go see if my god daughters okay don't i!" I ate my cereal and went to get changed.

I had a shower in the wet room and then put on some black skinny jeans and one of joes tops, I put my hair in a messy pony and did my everyday makeup. I pretend to pack a bag for Louise's. Once I had finished making my pretend bag I made mine and joes bed and headed down stairs. "Chloe, what's the bag for?" I had to stop myself from laughing "I'm going to Louise's remember!" I dropped my bag at the door and went to get a drink "Chloe, please don't go I don't want you getting sick" it was taking everything in me not to laugh "joe, she's probably only got a tummy bug, I'm immune to all that." I put my glass in the sink and walked to the door, I leaned against the wall and put my ankle boots on.

"Come give me a kiss before I go" joe ran to the door and grabbed my car keys "your not going anywhere without these" he then ran off into the living room, I chased after him and he was sat on the sofa. "Joe stop acting like a little kid and give me my Keys!" He got up and sighed, passed me my Keys and walked me to the door, "bye love" joe said as he kissed my cheek "bye joe" I hugged him got my pretend bag and made my way to my car.

I was sat in my car when joe came running out of the building, he came to the drivers side and I winded the window down "you can't go to Louise's!" I gave him a little dirty look "and whys that Joseph?" He hesitated before speaking again "it's because Louise, Matt and Darcy are coming up here for the rest of the week, so are zoe and Alfie. I just thought that it would be a nice surprise, but you've forced it out of me" he looked down at his shoes, I got out of the car and cupped his face "it's a lovely surprise" I pecked joes lips and got back in the car. "Get in loser we're going shopping" I said in a fake American accent. (A/N see what I did there?😉 you will only understand if you've seen mean girls)

He got in to the passenger seat and we drove into London, we made small talk in the car and every time I stopped at a red light joe would lean over and kiss my cheek. I ended up buying a new phone case, something's for the apartment, a new dress for Darcy, some make-up and joe bought a few tops and boxers. Joe got a text from Louise saying that they were near the apartment so we headed back to my car but stopped off at Starbucks to get everybody a drink.

We pulled up the apartment and Lousie, Matt, Darcy, zoe and Alfie were all waiting outside. I parked up and got out of the car "lousieeeee... Zoeeeeee!!!!!" We all ran up to each other and had a big group hug, I then hugged Matt and Alfie and then gave Darcy a big squeeze. "You getting so big now Darcy, your not a baby now" it was quite depressing how fast Darcy was growing up, I remember when she was born. We all went up to the apartment and chilled out for the rest of the evening.
