I heard Ace groan slightly, a sign that he was waking up. He rubbed his eyes before letting out a soft yawn.
He stared at ne before asking. "How long was I out?"
"Five minutes." I laughed lightly. "I guess you still have narcolepsy."
Ace scratched his head before giving me a sheepish smile. He continue to read the Moby Dick book that I gave to him.
A comfortable silence befell upon us. I was doing some research in my cellphone so I didn't bother him much.
"It was too long." Ace said indicating the book. "Do you have a bookmark?"
"Here." I lend him a bookmark from the desk. "Did you enjoy it?"
"Yeah. But it's just long and I'm not a reader so it might take a while to finish." Ace shrugged.
"If that was the case, why don't you take a shower first?" I suggested.
"That's good. Could have use it." He suppressed a yawn before standing up.
I also stood up and called him. "Wait Ace."
"Hmm?" He hummed as he looked at me.
"I have some theory about how you got here." I stated straight to the point.
His eyes narrowed as I caught his whole attention. "Let's hear it. "I let out a heavy sigh before explaining. "First one is the multiverse theory. The universe is just too wide. What if there are some other worlds or parallel words out there. And you managed to go into one?"
Ace was silent for a moment. "I don't bite that one. Where the hell did you get that?"
"When you're bored, you tend to find those things in the Internet." I shrugged.
"Inter— what?"
"Moving on," I just ignored his question. "A Devil Fruit of some sort. I mean, there's ton of Devil Fruits right? What if one of them has the power to transport you here? "
"Plausible." Ace whispered in a deep thought. "But in my three years time in the seas, I haven't heard anything like that."
"And the third one is..." I sighed heavily. "You're just my delusion. I mean, I still have a fever right?"
Ace snorted out loud. "Can a delusion do this?" He went and squeezed my cheeks in a hurtful way.
"Ouch! Stop it, Ace." I scowled as I managed to let go from his grip. "It's just a theory. We still need to do some sort of research."
"Yeah."
"And one more thing, I guess, I can let you watch the show..." I said diligently.
Ace stared at me for a moment. He blinked several times before managing to speak up. "R-Really?"
"Yup." I nodded. "We'll do that after you take a shower. Go to my room after."
"Okay. I'll get going." He left the room immediately.
I went upstairs and go to my parent's room. I just hoped Mom did not brought my laptop with her. I hated watching anime in my cellphone. I want it on a big screen. I found the laptop in the nightstand.
I just hope this will end well. I mean, there was no harm done if he watch the first episode right? Nothing really happened to the Straw Hats when they were in the East Blue. I can let Ace watch the episodes. The only episodes I have to avoid was the Post-Enies Lobby episode where he fought Blackbeard. The whole Paramount War arc where he was freaking executed. And the Dressrosa arc where Sabo was revealed to be alive the whole time.
