"Finally, I've finished it!" Ace yelled before groaning. He touched his nape that was probably stiff because his reading position was not really that great.

After dinner, Ace decided to stay in my room and wait for me to finish my homeworks and other school stuffs.

"So, what do you think?" I asked in curiousity.

The thing Ace did in the past week since he got here was read. Right now, he finished up reading the novel: Moby Dick that I gave to him a few days ago.

I cannot really blame him if he wanted to read it. Moby Dick was the name of Whitebeard's ship. The ship he sailed in for almost two years. Of course he would want to know the reason behind that name.

"It was long and boring." He commented with a heavy sigh.

"Yeah, that's exactly what me and my classmates think when we're forced to read it." I laughed.

"I think the author was trying to pushed people into believing Ahmed's belief about the whale. The description about the whale was too long so I skipped it."

I put my hands in my chin. "I remembered my teacher telling us the reason why it has a very long description. At the time it was published, not a lot of people know what is a whale nor what it looks like."

"But I do enjoyed the life of Ishmael. He was just a deckhand at a whaleboat, not really the best job out there and yet he's an articulate and highly educated person."

"In a scale of one to five, what's your rating?" I asked with a smile.

"Three. Not really a great read for me who never liked reading. I also hate the ending."

"Yeah... Killing all the other characters and letting Ishmael the only one who lived, is not really that great."

It has been five days since Ace and I had the argument. All in all we're good now. We act as if it did not occured at all in the first place.

During the weekdays, Ace was left here in the house while our family do our daily routine. He doesn't seemed to mind. He finally had a grasp on how this world works and the basic things need to be learned. He also knows how to control the television. Justin also teach him how to operate the game console so that he would be not be that bored in our house.

"Can we watch now?"

I grinned. "Sure."

After a week of watching, we managed to watch two hundred episodes now. We can watch up to twenty episodes a day. Who needs sleep anyway? I've only got five hours a day of sleep every night if I'm lucky that I don't have any homework. Ace was concerned about me not having any sleep but I didn't mind. His curiousness about his brother's adventures must come first.

During the Alabasta arc, Ace indeed winced whenever his self mentioned the reason why he was travelling alone, to hunt down Blackbeard. I asked him if he wanted to skip it but he told me that it was okay not to. He also added some things that weren't shown in the show. I listened to everything he added with interest. It's not everyday I hear him talk about his past.

In the Jaya arc, I skipped the part where Luffy had met with Blackbeard. The same reason as always, I don't want Ace's mood to sour any further. If he ever learned that his brother met with Blackbeard, it would just make him furious. It was a good thing Justin pointed out that scene because I sure did forget such important detail.

In the Skypiea arc, Ace was happy to know that Luffy managed to reach a sky island as he hadn't visited one back then. He laughed when he heard Luffy singing his 'idiot song' as he remembered his younger brother singing it a lot when they were younger just to annoy him. When Robin found the poneglyp Gold Roger left behind, he did flinched but didn't make any comments further abou that matter.
