Part 11: Suffocation

Y/n POV

I started to cough. Ink began to drip from my forehead and ears. I held my hand up to my throat as I kept on coughing and hacking. Every cough made my throat burn more and my scabs flood with pain.

I could feel the ink, every little drop that went into my cuts and my eyes, and more and more ink flooding down from my head and arms.

I started to scream bloody murder. I fell onto the ground, flinching and sputtering, not able to stay still. The pain was intense. I had left my bag with Boris, so he had my painkillers.

I didn't even think they would help. I started to yell louder. It was like my insides were getting crushed and turned around, and my heart was stopping and starting repeatedly.

I felt Cuphead trying to wipe the ink off. It didn't help. Every swipe of his hand made way for thicker, bloodier ink. It got to a point where I felt like I was suffocating.

I started to hear screaming and yelling, as I yelled louder. I could only see darkness and only feel pain. I felt my head get lifted up as I still screamed. Whoever had just lifted my head up had made my head feel like it was about to explode.

The pain was too intense, and I couldn't help but faint...

I woke up in the shade. I was sitting in tall grass against a tree. I had never noticed how quiet everything was until this moment. It was so peaceful... it didn't last long though. The pain settled in and I winced. I had no idea where everyone went, but I was wanting to find them.

I stood up. Looking around hesitantly and trying to avoid looking at myself. I saw them a little ways from me. I began to limp over there and groan as I did. Every step meant more pressure to my legs... and that meant more healing to be had.

I made it over there, and collapsed on the ground. Mugman and Bendy rushed over to help me up. "What happened...?" I asked quietly.

Bendy sat me down beside him and Mugman sat in front of me. Mugs sighed. "You don't want to know... really..."

"Tell me..."

Bendy and Mugman exchanged glances, then looked at Boris. He nodded and Mugman shuddered. "It was bad..."

_Mugman POV... right after Y/n had fainted... Mugs telling Y/n the story in perspective_

I watched horribly as Y/n twitched on the ground. She wasn't moving much, but she was definitely in pain. I didn't know what to do,
so I just stood back and let Boris and Felix do their thing.

Y/n started to seize. Gasping barely, she sounded like she couldn't breathe...

"FELIX!! SHE CANT BREATHE!!" I yelled loudly from behind. Felix snapped up.

Felix gasped again and started to do CPR. I looked around for Cuphead, and saw him beside Y/n. He had a horrified face on, and he was crying big fat tears. Bendy was staring in fright. I could understand. I bet he was imagining what he looked like when he broke out...

I ran beside Y/n as Felix continued to do CPR. I grabbed her hand and held it tightly.

A moment later, Y/n gasped and started sobbing in her sleep. I smiled sadly as Felix kept cleaning her off. Cuphead gasped too, out of relief...

_back to Y/n POV- present time_

My eyes were wide, and I felt tears come down my cheeks. "I-..."

That's when Cuphead ran up to me and hugged me tight. "YOU'RE ALIVE!!! THANK THE LORD!!!!"

I blinked wearily as I hugged him back. I wondered where he and Felix had been, because they definitely weren't here while Mugman told me about what had happened.

Felix sat down across from me and Cups let go. He looked into my eyes and started to quietly sob. I get it... it was the same case scenario as his brother in the hospital... kind of.

I looked at all of them. "You're all more quiet than usual..." I was a little unnerved.

Felix sighed. "If you could see what we all saw happened to you..." he paused. Putting his hands up to his face and keeping them there. "You'd understand..."

"I felt all of it... and you all shouldn't keep it in your heads... it'll only corrupt your minds more..." I stood up and opened my arms for all of them.

I closed my eyes and waited. I felt someone hug me. Bendy. Next it was Cuphead, Felix, Boris, Mugman, and Cala. I sniffled.

"You all are strong and amazing... you can do anything and you all saved my life... I don't know where I'd be without you all..." I paused. "Probably dead... I love you guys...

And I always will..."
