Part 13: The Bigger Gear

Y/n POV

Temperatures had dropped drastically since the last hour. I knew we weren't going to be on the mountain in a little while, but I figured the further up you went, the colder it got. I was a little bugged by this.

I had a coat on. It was F/c with some white fur along the hood. I also had some leggings on now. Cuphead came to my side.

"You cold you weakling?" He smirked. Half joking half not joking.

"Yeah, and you are too... you're wearing your coat you weakling." I echoed.

He took off his coat and his shirt then set them in my arms. I glared. He then fell on his back. I was shocked. I could feel the cold of the ground through my boots. I was not not concerned.

He was making grass angels on the ground. "Ahhh so refreshing." He beamed.

Bendy walked up beside me. "How disgusting, he's trying to flex on me..." he mumbled. "Bendy don't lower yourself to his-" I got cut off.

Bendy had thrown his coat and shirt off too and gave them to me. I got mad but calmed down and just glared again.

"Level." I murmured.

Bendy smiled cruelly at Cups. "See, I'm also super muscular, look who's flexing now."

"In your dreams you fat ass." Cuphead sneered.

"Thanks for the compliment." Bendy snickered back.

"That's it, I'm gonna fuck off before I do something I regret." I said. Throwing Bendy and Cup's stuff on the ground.

"Like KISSING CUPHEAD?"

I stormed back up to Bendy and kicked his side. He groaned but chuckled at the same time. I ran further away until I was side by side with Mugs and Boris.

"How the FUCKING HELL do you DEAL WITH SUCH MORONS."

"Eh, you inherit the genetics to ignore them." Boris said in a bored tone. Mugman nodded.

"I don't usually ignore Cuppy, but when he's like that it's better to. It's really embarrassing..."

"I'm not even related to them and it's horrible."

I looked at Cala who was in a little cart behind Mugman, getting pulled. "This one time I was sleeping outside, when I heard them come out of their tents and start like, talking about weird stuff... I had no idea what they were talking about but something to do with 'girls' and 'money'."

Mugman facepalmed. "So... Cuphead and I are not to say 'rich' but kind of wealthy... well- our dad is...  that's probably where the money comes in. We have this golden sealed official card that lets us go into any casino and get any free drink or food and basically boss anyone around... I don't know how our casino got so famous, but it apparently got WAY famous, so that this card was invented for very important people, me and my bro and my dad." He pulled it out of his pocket then held up the red and orange card.

The card was a blended mix of red, orange, and gold. The gold swirled in between the red and orange, then ending up on the bottom right was a stamped signature. Right beside that it said 'Hat, Mugman'.

That's when I figured out who Mug's dad was. Mr. Hat, Co owner and assistant manager of The Devil's Casino.

No one knew why it was called that, or what the real manager looked like, but no one seemed to care that much... I smiled. "Maybe if we run into a casino on our way to the ink machine we'll be able to get some free stuff."

Mugs nodded. "We've had to go to other casinos before, there is one in the upcoming town."

My eyes lit up. "TOWN?! That mean A MARKET!! AND SHOPPING!!"

Boris smiled. "Same. I also like shopping!"

That's when I heard a huge crash of rocks just in front. The ground was rumbling and the tiny pebbles that were on the ground were bouncing up and down. My eyes widened as the boulders started to roll over, revealing a giant.

She was even bigger than Cala's little outer shell. She had brown hair, a hat with sharp teeth of all kinds around the band. She had a jacket on with baggy dark brown pants. Her boots were oversized and baggy as well. She had a ginormous crocodile tail as it dragged behind her. Her eyes were a glowing yellow. The final thing I noticed was the bite mark on her right arm. It was huge as well.

That's when I noticed her teeth. They were very sharp, but one of them were the gear we needed. DAMN IT!! I thought. More killing to be done. The giant bent down and stared at us. Cuphead and Bendy has just gotten back with us, and Felix was amazed and horrified at the same time.

"What are little toony pips like you doing in my turf..." she said in a loud Australian accent.

"We need that gear." I yelled. She laughed.

"Like that's happening..." she sneered. Then she stomped her foot down and two boomerangs materialized in her hands. Kangaroos also emerged out from the rocks as koalas went to her shoulders.

I heard everyone quiet as she threw the boomerang to us. It was huge so we either had to jump for our lives, or fall to the floor and risk a concussion. I risked the concussion and dropped to the ground. The giant boss growled as Kangaroos circled us.

They began attacking us one by one. Each kangaroo stronger than the last. It was hard to dodge their feet. These ones were bigger than normal. My hands got bigger and claws were there. Every time this fucking animal would attack, I would claw its feet, then take it down.

It seemed everyone had the same idea. Taking the feet down was a more doable tactic. Once those were out of the way, she started throwing mutant koalas at us.

Their claws were ten times bigger than that of a normal koala. One had fallen right beside me and scratched my arm. I yelled in pain.

I turned and killed it out of anger. The boss sneered. "You MONSTER!"

She leaped into the air, then landed, causing a dust cloud to settle over her. When it left, she was a full on croc. I heard the gang groan and yell out of anger. I focused. She lifted her tail and slammed it to the ground, causing a mini earthquake.

I fell and landed on my bleeding arm. "ARGH!!" I yelled.

I stood up and looked at the spot I landed on. It was a puddle of blood. Something I realized- I had lost a hell of a lotta blood on this quest. I ran up to her and clawed vigorously at her eyes. She roared and tried to fight back, though she couldn't see. That's when Felix did his thing, he delivered the final blow. He used his epic sword thingy and shoved it into her skull.

The croc slowly stopped to move as me and Boris pried the tooth out.

I got disgustingness all over me.

"Ew..."
