Y/n POVWe were back at the hotel, but I hadn't said a word since we were down in hell. I needed to put it together on how to word it.
How is the ink machine gone? Or What's going to happen to Bendy and I?! Those were the top two on my list. I couldn't begin to describe the horror I felt as I was seated on the couch.
Cups sat beside me and Asteria was seated across from me. My hands were to my mouth as I spoke in a muffled way.
"What do you mean it's gone...?" I asked as I held back the urge to yell, to prevent the others from waking up.
"It's fall today-... September 22nd... Every season the ink machine changes places to stay." Asteria spoke wearily and horribly.
"AND WHY ARE YOU TELLING US THIS JUST NOW?! WE COULD'VE BEEN SAVED ALREADY!! THIS IS THE KIND OF CRUCIAL INFORMATION THAT WE ALL SHOULD KNOW!!" I shrieked at her, standing up and dripping ink on the floor slightly.
I heard a door in the hall open up. I turned my head to see Bendy. My eyes went wide as I immediately felt my heart shatter. Not only would I get even sicker, but Bendy would too. I wasn't sure how much emotional pain that would take out of everyone. Especially Boris and I. Bendy was rubbing his eyes and his hair was a fluffy mess.
I ran over to him, stumbling over myself as I did. I made it over and tears dwelled up in my eyes. "B-Bendy I-... I don't know wh-what to say..." I hugged him close and sobbed into his hair.
I felt his arms wrap around me as well. "What's this for...?" He asked, still tired.
"T-The ink mac-chine... It's not here an-anymore!"
"Wait..." He look to and looked up at me. He did an unnerved smile and chuckled unsurely "Y-You're joking... right...?"
I shook my head and felt my legs trembling. I fell to the ground and sobbed into my hands. I was probably taking this too far, but then again, our lives were at stake once again.
I felt Bendy hug me back, and I heard footsteps come our way. I grabbed Bendy's shirt and sobbed into it. "B-Bendy how w-will you ge-get better?! It-It's going to take months to g-get there!"
Bendy let go and put his hands on my shoulders. "We, not I... We'll both get better, and I'll make sure of that, and if being healed completely takes a little more pain, I say it's worth it."
I wiped tears from my face and looked up at him. I then looked at the floor again. "But... aren't you afraid...?" I shivered.
"How so?"
"Aren't you afraid of death...? Of dying before you get there...?"
"Nah... Death is for the weak, and I'm no weakling!"
"Death is for everyone bitch." Cuphead interrupted, facepalming.
Bendy rolled his eyes. "But no... Because I know there's more to my life than dying to some sickness... and you should think that too. I mean, look at you and Cups... Don't you want more to that? Don't you want to see what more you two will be?"
I looked at Cuphead as he crouched down behind me and looked me in the eyes. I looked back at Bendy. I nodded. "Yes... I do..." I said a little more confidently.
"Then that's what you keep remembering, every time you get hurt or every time that inkness knocks you down. THAT is what you remember, and that is what will keep you going." He put his fist to his heart and closed his eyes.
I felt my heart grow a little stronger,
like Bendy was for once right about this. "You're right..." I said, standing up and helping Bendy up as well. "I won't give up... not until I'm freed of this illness..."Asteria smiled heroically. "I didn't know Bendy could be so inspirational!"
I leaned over and whispered in Bendy's ear. "Ok- Asteria likes you no doubt!"
"Y-You really think so?!" He squealed.
"Heck yeah, just don't be so..." I mimicry Bendy flirting.
He nodded. "Ok ok..."
I looked outside of the glass walls to see what looked like the sunset. I sighed. "We should leave tomorrow... So let's all go get some rest..."
Asteria beamed. "I'm coming with you all by the way." She said as she began to walk away.
"WHAT?!" Bendy yelled, his jaw dropping as he followed.
They began to argue as I went back to the couch and sat on it. Cups came over to me and sat close, his arm around my shoulders as we watched the sunset.
"You think that-." Cups pointed to Asteria and Bendy down the hall, lowering his head a little to me. "Will happen?" He snickered with a smile.
"Hm... Maybe... Though knowing Bendy, he's probably going to get slapped a couple times." I giggled at the thought. Bendy would no doubt try and flirt with Asteria, and since Bendy was usually cheesy about it I didn't have any hesitation that he would get slapped.
Cuphead let out a warm laugh. "HA!! Just slapped?!"
I couldn't help but laugh loudly. He would most likely get more than slapped, Cups was probably right. "Wooooow! Way to be a good friend!!" I put my arms around my sides, trying to breathe while I laughed.
"Hey you're laughing too!"
I wiped the tears off of my face and from my eyes. "Whatttteverrrr!! We're BOTH laughing!" I paused. "Though... we probably need to go to bed..." I was still smiling bright as I stood up. I felt Cups grab my forearm.
"Wait... I thought-..."
I turned around and looked at him. "Thought what?"
"Don't you want to... Y'know... snuggle or something."
I tried so hard to not laugh. Cups had never said that word before, at least not around me. I smiled sadly. "Aw Cuppy, sure." I held my breath to prevent myself from laughing again.
Cups laid against the armrest and I crawled beside him. He wrapped his arm around me and I felt him smile.
"This is what you wanted all along eh?" I said as I got a little closer and buried my face into his shirt.
"Ever since we got back from hell? Yes."
I wrapped my arms around his chest as I felt more tired. I yawned. "Cool... cool..." I fell asleep...
About two hour later, it was about 2am. I heard a loud gasp. I sat up a little as did Cuphead.
"Y/N WHAT THE HELL!" I heard Felix yell. I knew he didn't mean to say hell by the look on his face. He had his PJ shorts on and nothing else, and his eyes were glowing in the light of the little candle he had.
"FELIX WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU CURSING?!"
