Two days later, Harry was walking out of the hospital, silent tears streaming down his face. He had more time with his mom than he expected, but that didn’t make the pain of losing her any less. He got to the car he had rented, pushing the key into the door to unlock it. He sat defeated in the front seat, wondering what he was to do now. Igniting the engine, familiar words poured through his ears from the speakers of the car.

And he wondered at that moment if that would be one of his life-changing songs. He put the car into park and pulled out of the medical center parking lot, going in the direction of Manhattan and a little corner music store run by a girl with purple hair.
