Chapter 5 (Short)

~(Y/N)'s Pov~

I was eating breakfast with my dad while watching the news, the news was going on about this Kira again. Good thing to cause I was so curious yesterday but I never got a chance to hear about it, "So (y/n), how is Elizabeth these days?" I give him a look then a nice irritated smile. "She's great" I swear one day I will punch the living hell out of him, he's always trying to ask about Liz and it sometimes makes me feel left out. It's sad that my dad is so naive, i yawn and get out of my seat. "Are you finished dad?" I mean I knew he still had food in his plate but who knows if he was full or something, "(Y/N), you do know about Kira right?" I give him a questioning look and shake my head.

"I mean last night I've heard about him on the news but when they were probably gonna talk about him we had a power outage, so I only heard of his or her name" I see dad look at me with this strange stare, then I see him stand up and put his hands on my shoulders. "What is it dad? Is something wrong?" Then his face goes from strange to normal, he gives me this smug look. "It's your turn to get groceries (y/n)" At first I was so confused but then I give him this annoyed look and hit his head, "Don't do that dumbass!" My dad was holding his head and started whining like a child, I face palmed myself. "Just make sure you get them on your way home (y/n), don't forget like you did last time"

I grab my bag off the table, "Yea I promise I won't forget, I'm leaving now. Make sure you go to work on time dad" I walked over to the door and open it, of course I didn't leave without waving goodbye. I then shut the door and started walking to school, my hair wasn't in a ponytail this time cause I was kinda lazy to put it up but that doesn't really matter. I yawn while rubbing my left eye, I barely got any sleep last night-well I kept waking up every hour. I then grab my phone from my pocket, I also grab my headphones so I could listen to some music. I plug in my headphones and put on Pandora, just cause I don't know what song to listen too.

I first start hearing a little bit of 'Kana Nishino' then started hearing a song called 'Give Me Sign' by Breaking Benjamin, I only like some of there songs. I yawn and rub my face, mostly trying to wipe my tiredness off. Of course I didn't watch were I was going and clumsily fall down, 'Damn it' but before I could fall down I felt someone grab my hand. I turn my head towards the culprit only to find light holding me up, "(y/n) you should be careful" Light then lifts me up. He did it a little to fast though causing me to bump into him and both of us falling in a position, I was on top and he was on bottom. "Oh sorry light-" It took me about a minute to realize the position we were in, I start to feel my face go red and quickly stand up.

"O-oh god!" I bow about 100 times, "I-I'm sorry!" I kept apologizing over and over again. I hear nice laugh coming from light, I look up at him with a pout and hit his chest. "Quit laughing damn it!" But that didn't stop him from laughing, "hmph!" I then walk away in a huff, I did not like him laughing. I rub my head still walking away from light, but I didn't notice him walk next to me...
