Alice's POV

I did it he's gone. Now she can be mine. I think to my self as I quickly leave the room making my way towards the fire escape which I entered in. I reach the window but to my luck there's nurses and doctors everywhere.

Just great.

I sigh. Luckily my clothes didn't get too dirty from that encounter with Jake well what can I expect it's not like he could move or was squirming. Anyway there's no point thinking about that now. I wait a while as the doctors talk to each other making conversation about patients and politics.

Boring

They eventually leave and I make my way towards the window opening it slowly yet fast enough so I can get out and not get caught. As soon as the window is open wide enough I climb through and make my way down the fire escape.

"I have to get to M before they call her about Jake." I say to my self as I begin to run towards her house as fast as I can praying and hoping I get there before they do.

At the hospital

"We finally got him stable" one nurse says pausing before continuing.

"It's evident someone stabbed him but how did they get into the building?" The female nurse questioned talking to one of her colleagues.

"I'm not sure" the male doctor replied.

"But I do know that we have to lockdown the hospital. If someone can sneak in and do this its evident that it's not safe here." He says seriousness in his voice.

"Agreed." The female nurse replies.

"I'm going to call the woman. We need to have him transferred to another hospital."

Mani's POV

I was about to go to bed when I get another call from mom? I answer genuinely curious as to what she's going to say.

"Hello?"

"Margaret there was an accident with Jake at the hospital. Someone attacked him so they're transferring him to another hospital."

I listen to my mom dumbfounded. She can't be serious right?

"Mom you have to be joking. Please say this is some sort of Joke." My mom sighs before talking.

"I wish it was" we continue to talk for a few minutes when she finally tells me where he's being moved. She tells me that i'm not allowed to tell anyone where he's at now and that I can't visit his room without conformation that I am her daughter. She also says that they need me down at the hospital for questioning.

In a hurry I get Bertram to drive me to the hospital. All the while I'm hoping and praying that this is in fact one huge nightmare and that Jake is fine.

Alice's POV

I make it to M's house only to find it empty.

"Fuck they already called her."

Well that's fine. I can just get her to come with me forcefully. I think to myself as I calmly and slowly walk home. You see the original plan was to get her to come with me willingly to persuade her to come with me willingly with out her knowing about Jake's injury then she would have nothing holding her back here.

"Well that's why you always have a plan B." I say to my self as I unlock my front door kicking my shoes off as I walk inside. I sigh as I flop on my couch not bothering to even make the trip to my room. I look up at the same old boring ceiling and sigh.

"Everything in this world is so boring." And that's precisely why I need her. I need her to make this world not boring, to make my life not boring. She's the only thing worth while in this world and that is exactly why I need her even if she doesn't want to be with me because trust me she will want to and if she really doesn't then she'll just have to accept it.

"Just like Jake will have to accept the fact that I took her right out of his grasp and there's nithing he could do about it." I let out a small giggle at my words.

"Yes, because a world without that is just plain boring."
