Days had turned into weeks; weeks into months and soon [Y/N] had spent almost half a year at Hogwarts.

--

The rosy-cheeked girl absolutely loved the school and it's students— having quickly made friends and acquaintances with almost everyone she crossed.

"Good morning, [Y/N]! How are you?" A lively, upbeat, yet uncharacteristically deep, voice called as the almost angelic-like girl made her way towards the Hufflepuff common room.

"Good morning, Myeong-Eun! I'm fine, how about you?" The blonde girl greeted, a bright, kind smile on her face as she sprinted towards her best friend.

"Never been better!" Myeong-Eun chirped back, swinging his sun-kissed arm over the girl's shoulders and pinching her soft cheek with his other hand as they both walked out, ready to begin their day.

--

"Merlin! Do those two have to be so loud this early in the morning?" Avery whined, his voice raspy and laced with sleep as he leaned against a pillar in one of the many corridors at Hogwarts, watching the two chipper balls of energy make their way towards the Great hall, greeting fellow Hufflepuffs, Gryffindors and Ravenclaws as they went.

Lestrange scoffed, a small smirk making it's way onto his lips as he glanced towards his friend.

"No but," he started, his smirk turning into a light, smile as he looked around, before whispering: "You'd miss their happy-go-lucky asses if they weren't here."

Avery laughed slightly at his friend's statement, knowing full well that he would miss [Y/N]'s bright smile and Myeong-Eun's... Well, annoyingly optimistic personality.

"Who wouldn't?" The boy remarked, picking up his discarded cloak before turning back to Lestrange, a now rather bored smile on his face, "We should probably head to the Great hall soon, before Tom ignores us again for"abandoning" him."

Lestrange nodded, making his way towards Avery, before the two Slytherins started on their way to Tom.

--

"Glad to know you two own watches." The boy greeted, glancing up towards his friends in acknowledgement before bringing his gaze back down to whatever book he had his nose in that day.

"Sorry, [Y/N] and that boy friend of hers were making a ruckus in the corridors and we just so happened to get caught in the middle of their joyful reunion with people they saw 12 hours ago." Avery stated, stuffing his mouth with a forkful of eggs and bacon as he gestured towards the spirited duo with his head.

"I've never heard someone repeat "Good morning" that much in my entire life. What's so good about it anyways?" Lestrange added, scoffing at the memory of the two "hooligans" he and many other Slytherins had come to tolerate.

"Seems like you two had quite the eventful morning then." Tom replied, his tone presenting slight amusement as he put his book down, glancing towards today's topic of conversation before taking a sip of his drink.

Soon, the trio finished their breakfast— having ate it in peace as they were all too tired to bother in making any type of small talk; choosing instead to listen to the low murmur of the other students talking and laughing.
