As soon as I set foot into the Labs I took a seat near the front, Trouble not far behind me, I sat down on the stool behind the counter and tied back my hair into a high pony tale. I looked over to see Trouble who was chewing gum loudly. I cleared my throat trying to get his attention.
"Yes..?" He turned his head to face me
"No gum in the labs.." He then spat it out into his hand and stuck it under the counter.

I cringed as I looked up at the teacher who was standing at the front,
"Today will be all about separating bacteria from water to make dirty water pure. You all have to create your own method" a smile was brought to my face, I loved when we did experiments that needed us to use our own brains to think of the method instead of being instructed.
"now, before we start, any questions?"  I raised my hand slowly.

"Typical.." Trouble chuckled to himself as he rocked back on his chair
"Yes destiny?"
"Can we use any equipment in the lab..?"
"Of corse" She said with a wide grin.
"any more questions?" Trouble raised his hand,
"When does this class end because there are some things I gotta do.." the class laughed, everyone found him funny and half the stuff he says aren't funny in the slightest. The teacher just brushed off his question before telling us to get started.

I clapped my hands together before walking over to the racks to grab myself a pair of safety glasses and an apron. I then pulled out a heat proof Matt and a Bunsen burner before plugging it into the gass pipe  and collecting the dirty water that we were to purify. I glanced around the room quickly to see people running around like maniacs trying to get the last of the filter paper and laughed to myself.

I ran through all the equpitment in my head just to make sure I had everything before turning to trouble who was standing with folded arms, no aprin, no goggles.
"What..?" He spat, looking me up and down,
"We can't start the experiment until you have a pair of goggles on and an apron" He laughed loudly before leaning against the counter.
"You're dreaming if you think you'll get me into a pair of those" he flicked my glasses
"Or one of these" he then pulled the strings on my apron, bringing my body closer to his.

I quickly stepped back and brushed myself off
"Then I guess you can't do the experiment" He sat down quickly and chuckled
"Fine with me" I faced the counter
"Fine" I spat
"Fine" He spat back. I turned on the gas slowly and tapped my pockets and let out an aggravated sigh.
"The matches.." I mumbled to myself as I had forgott them, I walked off to grab the box of matches.

"so what are you planing to do..?" The teacher asked my out of curiosity
"Boil the water" she smiled slightly
"You do realise that boiling the water wont purify the water" she reassured me
"I know.. I will do other things aswell.. but thats for me to know and you to find out" she giggled before letting me go.

By the time I had walked back to the counter, Trouble had his backside propped up onto the bench, leaning against the gas pipes.
"Down Boy" I growled, pointing to the floor, He laughed quietly
"So I'm a dog now am I?" He raised his eyebrows,
"Get. Off. The. Bench." I hissed, giving him the evil eye. He put his hands up in surrender as he slid of the bench.

"so what exactly are we doing here, little miss innocent?" He asked as he moved behind me
"Well, We're Bo- You aren't even doing the experiment.."
"Yeah, so?"
"Then why are you asking..?" He groaned and slumped back into his chair as I pulled the matches from my pocket, When he saw the match box, Troubles eyes lit up, like a kid on Christmas.

"Are you playing with fire?!" He said excitedly
"I guess you could say that..?" I pulled a match from the box
"I want in! I want to do the experiment!" He jumped up quickly, I dont think I've ever seen someone so excited to see a match before.
"Well I guess if you want to join in you have to go get an aprin on.." He shook his head.

After a long argument, We decided that if he burned his clothes off or injured his eye, It would be his fault for not obeying the lab rules and not mine. He striked the match.
"Now I'm going to turn on the gas slowly, then you put the flame above this thing" I pointed to the top, He nodded slowly before blowing out the match, I stood there confused..
"Why did you just-"
"I want to light another" I laughed slightly and watched as he striked another match and got it ready.

Were we actually co-operating, were we actually not fight..? were we actually getting along? this seemed so unreal!
"Ready?" I asked before he brought the flame to his lips and blew it out. I groaned loudly
"again?! seriously?!" He giggled before pulling out another match and striking it
"I just love that feeling!" I rolled my eyes as he finally put the flam above the Bunsen burner, causing it the light up as it should.

"Now just put it onto the heat proof Matt and Ill get the water ready" I instructed before grabbing the beaker with the dirty water in it, I watched Trouble out of the corner of my eye as he went to blow out the flame, but stopped himself, smiling evilly as he placed the still lit match next to the open gas pipe that he had once been leaning against.  He must've turned it on with his back because as soon as that flame got close to the pipe, It sent fire shooting towards the wall, setting it on fire.

I screamed and dropped the beaker, causing it to smash as Trouble quickly placed the match in my hand
"DESTINY! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!" He screamed, pointing to me.
"WHAT?! ME?!" I stood there in shock as the teacher quickly ran over and put out the flames. She ran to us and eyed us both, the class staring in silence.
"WHO DID THIS?!" She screamed
"I- It wa-"
"IT WAS HER, SHE DID IT!" Trouble screamed, pointing at me still
"ME?! WHERE IS YOUR EVIDENCE?!"
"You are holding the burnt out match destiny..." The teacher said with a disappointed tone in her voice.

"IT WASN'T ME I SWEAR!" she let out a sigh before pulling a small green piece off paper from her back pocket. It was something that I had never gotten in my life..

a detention slip.
