I yawned slowly sitting up as the morning sun shone through my windows. I walked to the shower and washed off my body and my messy hair. I got out and dried off before going to my closet to get clothes. I picked out a pair of skinny jeans and a blue v-neck with black boots and a black button up jacket. I brushed out my long curls and let them fall down my back. I walked downstairs slowly not in a rush.

When I reached the living room I walked towards the kitchen feeling tired and lightheaded. Mom smiled at me then frowned looking me over. "Sweetie your a little pale are you okay?" she asked.

"Yeah," I said stumbling a little till Blaze caught me.

"You don't look fine," He said worriedly setting me on my feet.

"I'm fine just a little tired and hungry that's all," I said sitting down.

Blaze stayed next to me and watched me closely. I ate quickly all eyes on me as I stood up and put my dishes in the sink and walked back upstairs. Blaze followed me as I walked into my room sitting on the bed.

"I don't need to be watched Blaze," I said looking up at him. "I'm fine."

"You don't look fine and the you stumble as you walk that's not fine," he stated as he sat next to me.

I leaned into him hating how he could read me so well. "I'm just tired," I slipped off my boots and laid down. "I might just take a nap to calm my nerves."

He nodded and smiled kissing my forehead, "I'll wake you later." I smiled and laid down slowly slipping into sleep.

I kept my eyes focused in front of me as I sat on the forest floor. What am I doing here? Why am I here? Where is everyone?

"Young Rosette don't ask so many questions," a voice purred close by.

I moved my head quickly to the right only to see a cloud of black dust dancing around. "Who are you?" I asked.

"Again with the questions child calm down I'm not going to hurt you..yet."

I whimpered and moved back but a cold hand stopped me as I met red eyes. "Going so soon," he smirked.

"Leave me alone," I demanded jumping to my feet and backing up.

"I can't do that besides think of the twelve years we've been together how much I've token care of you," he smirked evilly licking his lips.

"You did nothing to take care of me. I was left in a basement with no food and water!" I exclaimed feeling anger rise in me.

"Please," he scoffed, "I gave you a life I let you feel risks."

I shook my head attempting to drown out his words, "You separated me from my family."

"You're right, I took away your mind link your everything. I made it all a living hell. You make me sound like such a bad person."

"Because you are," I whispered not trusting my voice.

"You are mine, I claimed you way before that mutt Blaze even met you. I gave you everything."

"The only thing you gave me was a reason to hate you," I glared at him.

He glared at me back his red eyes piercing into mine like he was looking into my soul. "I loved you first, you were supposed to grow up and I would make you love me. But that mutt just had to get into the way. But now no one will have you, you'll be mine even if I have to kill your precious Blaze."

I woke up my back drenched in sweet and tears running down my cheeks. I took a deep breath and pulled my knees to my chest. "It was all a dream, It was all a dream," I said over and over in attempt to call me down.

He's never going to get you, you have your family and the pack and Blaze. They'll keep you safe. It's no use though trying to calm me down only made me more upset as I soon started to cry uncontrollably. Blaze on cue entered the room seeing me he was by my side in a instant.

"Rose!" he exclaimed pulling me into his lap. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"I had a nightmare," I whimpered digging my head in the crook of his neck. "The vampire."

That was all I had to say before Blaze went into a spree of reassuring words and soothing tones. He held me in his arms tight his warm temperature wrapping around me as I cried into his neck.

When I finally calmed down and explained all that happened Blaze was angry. "That vampire blocked our connection," he said running a hand through his soft hair. "No wonder we can't hear each other's thoughts."

I leaned into him, "How do we get it back?" I questioned wanting to hear my mates voice.

"We need to ask the wolf keeper," he said.

"Wolf keeper?" I asked confused.

"A certain person who knows every thing about wolves. All the spells that can be broken how to do it he is basically like a walking library. He has all the information."

I nodded and looked up at him, "Please don't leave me at night I don't want anymore nightmares," I said looking into his eyes.

"It's okay sweetie I'll never leave you," he whispered and kissed my cheek.
