Vladamir's POV

Everything around here has been so quiet yet so crowded. Everyone's been staying in the house for the past week. Scarlett and Franz haven't left since we came back, just in case anything were to happen. I haven't really left my room unless I was going downstairs to visit dear Shadow, or grab something to eat or drink. No one really comes in my room, and I haven't even heard word from the German lately. He's been in Gretchen's room a lot. I don't even think I've seen him leave. That's weird, I thought we were actually getting along.
I got up, just wanting a drink. I opened the door to my room and walked out, and who else did I run into but the idiot himself, and by run into I mean literally.
"Hey, watch it Russkie." He said, smiling. He had his hands placed on my hips. I scrambled out of his grasp, my face burning up. He chuckled, watching me stomp down the stairs. "Someone's embarrassed." He cooed, following me down the stairs.
"I am most certainly not!" I said angrily, stomping into the kitchen. I forcefully opened the fridge, grabbing a bottle of alcohol.
"Yeah? You know that stuff's bad for you, right?" Franz said, leaning in the doorway.
I scoffed and turned around, glaring at him. "Why you care? I am sure you would love if I died of alcohol poisoning."
He dramatically gasped. "I absolutely would not!" He ended it with a smirk.
"Why do you bother me." I said, trying to walk past him.
He walked in front of me. "Because you love my company. And plus, I'm bored."
I grunted. "I do not like you, and I do not care if you are bored." I tried to walk past him again, but he moved back in my way.
"Come on, you know you enjoyed my company saving Shadow. Admit it, and I'll leave you alone." He said, smiling down at me.
"No, I will not admit something so ridiculous." I said. I was lying and he knew it. He knows I enjoyed it and now he's messing with me. Stupid Germans always have to get what they want.
"Then I won't move." Franz crossed his arms.
I reached into my back pocket and pulled out my knife, opening it and shoving it against his throat. "Move."
Franz chuckled. "You wouldn't kill me, silly Russkie." He grabbed the blade with his hand and pointed it away from him.
I sighed and dropped my hand down, closing and shoving my knife back in my pocket. "Go to hell."
Franz smiled. "See, I told you. Anyways, we should do something because unlike you my boredom is killing me and that is of utmost importance." He said, like he was the king of the world.
I scowled at him. "Right, right. What is there to even do?" I mumbled.
Franz placed a hand on his chin. "Let's see. Shadow is in her room with Gretchen, which means the couch is free for someone to use. We could watch a movie?" He asked, looking back down at me.
I scoffed. "That is actually pathetic."
Franz laughed. "So is that a yes?" He asked.
I sighed. "Fine, we will watch one movie." Franz clapped his hands together and he walked over to the couch excitedly. Why is he trying to be all friendly? Does he wanna be friends? No, because I hate him. What's happening? I questioned to myself as I walked over towards the couch. I sat on the far end of the couch, nowhere near him.
"Oh come on, I don't bite." Franz said. I let out a huge sigh and moved slightly closer to the center of the couch, where he was. I'll admit one thing, he definitely isn't ugly. I would never tell him that though.
"So, what do you wanna watch?" He asked. I shrugged, not really caring. "We could... watch a horror movie?" He asked.
I laughed a little. "You just want to watch horror movie because you know I will jump."
Franz gasped, laughing. "The scary Russian is scared of horror movies? Now that's priceless! That's something I want to see. Horror it is!" He cheered.
"Why do I ever try." I sighed. He chuckled and wrapped an arm around my neck, pulling me closer to him, like he was putting me in a headlock but in a friendly way. I felt my face start to burn up again, mentally punching myself for it.
"You'll be fine, Russkie. I'll protect you from the scary monsters." I freed myself from his grasp and shoved his face away from me, still blushing.
"I do not need protection from stupid German. You are no where near my level. In fact, you would need my protection." I growled.
"It's cute that you think you're tougher than I am." Franz said, picking a horror movie. It was something about paranormal activity and demon children. Just great, what I hate most.
He started the movie and he got up and turned the lights off. It was evening, so the room was a lot darker without the lights. Franz came back with a small blanket and tossed it over my head, walking around the couch and sitting down.
I frustratingly threw the blanket off my head, eyeing Franz. He innocently smiled at me like he did nothing wrong. I crossed my arms and watched the beginning of the movie.
