An eerie tapping comes from all the boys' dorm room, putting them all on edge. The friends are trying to make best of one of the worst possible situations; except Taehyung, who is pacing around stressing about Jungkook's whereabouts. "Taehyung it's okay, Jungkook knows that he's doing," Hoseok tries to comfort, walking up next to the boy.
The younger swipes Hoseok's hand away from him, "no it's not okay! Jungkook is probably dead somewhere in the middle of a street."
Jimin sighs, getting up to stand beside Hoseok, "Taehyung you need to calm down, we can't make too much noise. We cannot risk the lives of others; I'm sorry about Jungkook but you need to sit down and take a chill pill, or you might just kill this whole building."
Taehyung looks around at his friends, who have all accumulated in Hoseok's dorm, the youngest takes note of how genuinely scared Yoongi looks, cuddled up next to Seokjin. Taehyung nods, breathing a deep breath in, before going to go sit next to his friends.
They all sit in silence, exchanging worried glances between them, Taehyung chewing down on his nails. The tapping from all around them, continues at a steady pace, slowly starting to piss Yoongi off. "Seriously, what the fuck is that noise? Is someone trying to communicate through Morse code?" He angrily snaps, finally looking up from the comfort of Seokjin's shoulder. The rest of the boys shrug.
CLANK!
Everyone freezes at the sudden noise, looking over toward where the noise is coming from. The door handle to the hall is jiggling wildly, as if someone is trying to break in. The boys' breath collectively hitches in their throats. "M-maybe it's a guard doing a routine check," Hoseok suggests, grabbing tightly onto his boyfriend. The rest of the group nods, just in hopes that Hoseok is correct.
The door handle is left alone, as the boys lets out a sigh of relief, before is smashes wide open, revealing their worst nightmare.
"Please... Don't hurt us," Taehyung whimpers.

Jungkook sprints up the stairs, her scent is strong now. "Stupid, leaving him, stupid," Jungkook curses himself, leaping up the stairs like an animal. He breaks through the fire exit on the floor he needs, following the scratch marks along the walls and carpet. He can hear shrill screams, which only power his legs to go faster. Sliding to the room where the commotion is going down.
"DON'T BE FUCKING STUPID!" He yells at the first beast, entering the room, panting heavily, catching the attention of everyone in the room. The beast whips her head around, looking a lot more animal like than ever before. Her arms are longer, more gangly with longer, sharper claws. Her forked tongue pokes out like an out of breath dog, with soulless eyes even more dull than usual. She seems to be a lot bigger than Jungkook imagined, her well defined muscles on full display now. She has blood tears staining her cheeks and a sick smile, spread across her cheeks. Project One catches the glimpse of her companion, her cracked smile only growing.
"Why do you project these worthless humans?" She asks in her native tongue. Jungkook tries not to listen to her, knowing if he does, she will surely kill Taehyung and his friends. He shakes his head clear, taking a defensive position. She frowns, "why are you trying to fight me? Is it because I will hunt them? String them up like decorations on Christmas day," Project One taunts. Jungkook looks behind the large beast, seeing the terrified look on Taehyung's face, he physically feels his heart pull. This doesn't go unnoticed by Project One, "has Chanwoo's test really worked? After all these years? Have you developed empathy and love? You, the soulless of most creatures, becoming soft. How cute."
Jungkook shakes his head, pulling out a switch blade. "Jungkook, save us please," Taehyung suddenly whimpers, gaining the attention of Project One back.
She takes slow steps toward the group. Jungkook knows he's out of his mind, and he that if wants to stand even a slight chance, he should change into his beast form. But he can't bring himself to do that, Jungkook can imagine how doing such a thing would impact his relationship with the boys. The beast takes a running leap, successfully latching onto Project One's back and attempts to stab the blade into her neck. As suspected, the blade breaks upon contact with her skin.
The massive beast thrashes out, kicking all over the dorm in attempts to get Jungkook off her back. She crashes through a dry wall, bringing the fight into the room next to them. Project One spins around, while Jungkook lands hard punches on the beast, secretly allowing his claws to grow out to slice the skin. The monster screeches, throwing Jungkook off her back onto another person in the room. The other beast gets up off the bloody body, having being crushed by Jungkook's weight. He runs back at Project One, tackling her back into Hoseok's dorm. Taehyung and his friends start to cheer on Jungkook, as the boy tries to tear into the skin of the beast or harm her in anyway possible. The beast in disguise does a pretty good job at holding on, choking Project One by his thighs, while she tries to rip at Jungkook. Their brawl comes to an end, when Project One quickly grabs the back on Jungkook's shirt, ripping him off her back and pinning him beneath her. "Come on Jungkook, you're my loyal partner, don't fuck this up. You've proved yourself to them, now prove yourself to me. You'll only be able to take me down if you transform," she taunts, snapping her jaws in Jungkook's face.
The youngest looks sadly over to Taehyung, who has delicate hands covering over his mouth and tears pooling in his eyes. Jungkook closes his eyes tightly, as he feels the sharp claws press down on his forehead, keeping him pinned to the floor. He can feel Project One's hot breath on his face, and she prepares herself to bit into Jungkook. Saliva drips from her tongue, the clear liquid dripping onto Jungkook's face. As her dislocated jaw comes plummeting toward Jungkook's face, he feels his reflexes kick in.
Taehyung watches in disbelief, when Jungkook re-opens his eyes, they're as dead and black at the beast on top of him. Taehyung and the rest of his friends take further steps back, as Jungkook now pushes the heavy beast off himself. His back legs crack as they almost fold out, into their dog like form, sharp teeth push through with claws to match. The beast roars as the fight is now made fair. He leaps onto Project One bearing and snapping his teeth, while taking wild swipes at her face.
"YES JUNGKOOK! Feel the anger," Project One urges, holding the snapping animal off, until he grabs her by the neck, thrashing her around the room, and through another dry wall, to the room on the other side of them.
Jungkook watches as Project One has difficultly standing, with three massive gashes running down her stomach. "Stay away from these people, that is all I ask," he finally responds, taking another defensive stance, his slightly crazed eyes adding to the terror factor. Project One picks herself up from the rubble, revealing the blood of a resident in the dorm room she was thrown into.
She glares at them, "fine, those people, and only those people. Everyone else will fall to the mercy of me," she compromises, turning around and hobbling away. She leaves eye shot, before Jungkook can catch a glimpse of her human form.
Jungkook doesn't step down from his defensive stance until her scent leaves the building, only then does her turn around to the human he protects. They all cower away, Taehyung becoming terrified of Jungkook's gestures toward him. Jungkook studies the humans, deciding the best way to communicate would be in his human form.
"W-w-what are you?" Taehyung sobs, crawling further back from Jungkook, as he slowly morphs down from his imposing beast form.
The beast looks up into Taehyung watery brown eyes, having the urge to wipe away his tears; Jungkook sighs, looking down at the ground, "I'm a beast, designed to hunt humans."
