Taehyung's ears, though less sensitive than Jungkook's, could still pick up on the faint scream of the so called Haeun. "Jungkook, look at me, you don't need to go back to her," Taehyung quickly says, gaining the boy's attention.
The beast snarls, bearing his teeth, "she is my pack, she has taught me the ways of humans, I know how you work," he growls, hunching down. Taehyung spots the black goo, seeping into his eyes, as a sign of transforming into the beast form.
Taehyung shakes his head, "Jungkook, not all humans are the same, you don't need to kill us," he desperately pleads. "Please, you saw enough hope in us to protect us before, why are you trying to kill us now?" He asks.
Jungkook halts all his movements, looking Taehyung deep in his eyes, "I protected you?"
"All of us."
Jungkook shakes his head, snarling, "you lie, there is a new scent, him," he says, pointing a finger at Jungkook. Felix takes a step back, putting his hands up.
"Look, I'm new around here but, I'm a good guy," he defends.
Jungkook glares at the boy, "you do not smell of my pack," he snarls. Another shrill scream, carries through the air, this time, coming closer.
Taehyung suddenly runs up to Jungkook, wrapping him in a tight hug, "please, I miss you," he whispers, just loud enough for Jungkook to hear. Everyone in the room holds their breath, as they await for Jungkook's next movement.
To all of their surprise, a look of fondness and love, pulses through his eyes, as a caring hand comes to stroke the top of Taehyung's head. "Baby, you know I cannot stay with you," he says softly, taking everyone even more off guard.
Taehyung steps back, looking up at Jungkook with soft eyes, "please, you don't have to keep killing."
Jungkook shakes his head, "I have been programmed to kill, darling you should know this by now."
Seokjin lets out a loud scream, from behind them in the window, deep black eyes stare at them, with stringy black hair covering parts of them. The beast crashes through the window, roaring loudly. Jungkook kisses the top of Taehyung's head, completely ignoring the beast. "I remember now, it's okay. She will not hurt you," Jungkook whispers, hugging Taehyung tightly.
Haeun rolls her eyes, "Jungkook, it's time to go," she says to him, in their language of clicks and groans. The group is pushed up against the back wall, trying to all get far away.
"Jungkook wait, I love you," Taehyung whispers to him, "I miss you, don't leave."
Jungkook smiles softly, feeling love pulsate through his veins, "I love you too," he whispers back, letting go as the words pass his lips. Black goo, seeps into his eyes, as his bone structure completely remodels itself. Jungkook walks over to his pack, now in full beast form, "we will go now," he says in her language.
She nods, crawling back out the window, Jungkook turns back for one last glance, making strong eye contact with Felix, "Taehyung is mine," he growls out, before following Haeun out the window.

Taehyung ventures out into the forest, following the trail of dead deer and other small morsel carcasses. Trying to find the one who he loves. Taehyung knows this is risky, leaving his friends behind at the cabins to go find his unofficial boyfriend. The snapping of tree branches behind himself, make Taehyung whip around. There he stands in all his glory, dead eyes and wicked smile.
"I thought we agreed I'd meet you tomorrow," Jungkook says in a deep voice, making Taehyung look down.
"I misses you."

They stand in a pile of blood, Haeun's giant beast body, is torn to shreds beside them, laying in a puddle of her own blood. The city is in shambles, flames lick at the buildings, charring the ground below them. Jungkook stands on his last leg, his skin badly burned, protectively standing over Taehyung to keep him safe.
"Guys..." Hoseok weakly calls out, gaining their attention, as a letter he is holding, drops to the floor, the wind carrying him away.
