"Hey Taehyung, why don't you come out with us anymore?" Jimin asks, laying on Jungkook's old bed. Although, Taehyung has a new roommate now, Felix. It's not the same as it was before, sure, Felix is a nice roommate, picks up after himself, outgoing, hasn't set the dorm on fire just yet. Taehyung just can't seem to feel the same happiness, than he did with Jungkook.
Taehyung sighs, looking back at his friend from the desk he's working at, "I have to do school," he answers.
Jimin rolls his eyes, fake gagging, "that's a generic answer besides, school never stopped you before. Come on, whats on your mind?" He pries. A sly smirk starts to play on Jimin's face, "oh my gosh, you and Felix are totally doing it!" Jimin exclaims.
The younger's face morphs into a look of surprise, "is that seriously the first thing your thought of? No we aren't 'doing it' you fucking moron," Taehyung snaps, throwing his pencil at Jimin.
The elder easily dodges the flying object, "come on, what is it then?" He asks.
Taehyung sighs, looking down at his book, gently gnawing on his lip, "you're going to think it's dumb... If I tell you..."
Jimin pouts, shaking his head, "it's okay, you can tell me if you and Felix are dating. I mean, we all know he has a thing for you," the boy teases.
"I'm hung up on Jungkook," Taehyung admits.
Now it's Jimin's turn to give a look of surprise, "Jungkook?" He asks, unsure if his ears deceived him. Taehyung sadly nods. "Taehyungie... It's been about three months since he left, you know that right?" Jimin asks, Taehyung nods again. "And in those three months, there hasn't been a single beast attack. I don't want to say this but... There's a good chance he's gone... For good," Jimin says softly. He watches as Taehyung's face visibly drops, "wait, I don't mean like dead because well, it'd be hard to kill him I just mean like... He's probably living in the wild and happy. I think you should move on. Felix is pretty nice," Jimin points out.
Taehyung sighs nodding, "I know, I know, it's dumb, that's why I didn't want to admit it."
Jimin nods knowingly, "you should give Felix a chance."
As if on cue, Felix walks through the door, an ice coffee in one hand, old books in the other, "hey Taehyung, hey Jimin," the boy greets lively.
"Hey Felix," Taehyung greets back, with less enthusiasm.
The younger boy pouts, "why are you sad?" He asks, picking up on the boy's sad tone. Taehyung mentally curses, hating how good Felix is at reading people. It's like he trained up on this skill.
"Nothing... I'm just thinking," Taehyung lies, flashing him an obvious fake smile.
Jimin rolls his eyes, deciding to take matters into his own hands, "he's just nervous 'cause he wants to ask you out on a date," Jimin blurts out.
Both Taehyung and Felix's eyes expand, "JIMIN!" Taehyung scolds, just about ready to kill his friend at this point.
Jimin winks at the younger, "okay, I'll be going, have fun you two!" Jimin happily sing-songs, getting off Felix's bed and skipping out the room.
Felix chuckles, "it's okay but... Is what he said true?" He asks.
Taehyung feels his heart shatter just a little bit, the look of happiness written across his face, makes him feel really bad, for what he is about to break to the poor boy, "I'm sorry but, no. I'm actually kind of hung up on someone right now."
Felix's face drops, "oh... That's okay. Do you wanna talk about it?"
Taehyung smiles softly, "yeah... Actually."

Haeun snaps at Jungkook, watching the red pulsate through his eyes, a strong swipe pushes her back into a tree, knocking the air out of her. "Good job, you've come a long way," she congratulates, clutching onto her wound, although it's small. Jungkook goes from bearing his teeth like a monster, to neutral.
"Do you think society has forgotten about us yet?" Jungkook asks, looking out through the woods.
Haeun shrugs, looking in the same direction, "I must admit, hunting deer is not nearly as fun as hunting humans but, we must wait."
"Why?"
Haeun looks at Jungkook, "because, when we return, I want their blood to run cold. Dangle hope that maybe everything is okay, and we're finally gone for good, before snatching out of their grubby little grasp."
