Secrets invented

Prologue

"Aren't you cute" I say while leaning over a fence patting a horse. The horse neighs and shakes it's head before nudging against my hand. I climb the fence and jump into the paddock, even though I don't know who owns it. I play with the horse for quite some time before I get interrupted.

"Having fun with my horse?" I turned around as a voice from behind me spoke. I blushed slightly before going to the fence.

"Who wouldn't, he's beautiful and very playful" I said cheerfully and giggling slightly. The guy looked at me weirdly, and I gave him a what look.

"That horse is not a nice horse, he attacks everyone" I was puzzled by that as the horse had been nice to me all this time. Maybe it's because I'm a shifter I thought looking at the horse.

"So what's his name?" I asked since I'd just been calling him boy and horse.

"His name is Nightmare" he said glaring at the horse I now knew as Nightmare.

"Really, very creative" I said jokingly and there was a slight silence. "I have to go..."

"Ronan, my names Ronan."

"Ok goodbye Ronan, I might see you at school tomorrow" he went to my school, I had seen him around I just didn't mention it until this time. He nodded in reply before I jumped the fence and walked home.
