Secrets invented

Chapter three

It's been a month since I moved in, not many people know my secrets, only Leon and Ronan know about me being half shifter half wolf.

"Wake up sleepy head" Leon whispered in my ear before hopping out of bed. I turned over and pulled the blankets over my head. "You have to get up we have a very important meeting," there was a slight silence before he continued, "it's about your parents."

I turned over, looked at him and sighed. "You didn't tell anyone did u?" He knew I was speaking about what I am. He shock his head no and I got up and ready.

After a while we went to the meeting with all the pack leaders around us. There were about twenty maybe even more, I was too nervous to check.

"Elora, your father Jay Black, what happened?" One of the leaders ask. I sighed at the question and looked at the ground.

"He... found his mate, yeah that's right!" I blatantly lied to all the alphas. I hear a growl come from my mates father and start getting even more nervous.

"Don't lie to us!" He yelled staring me in the eyes, I started to quiver, he was a scary person even though I'm stronger than him.

"Dad!" Leon growled walking over to me. He pulled me close but I pushed him back. He looked at me questioning my movements.

"My dads dead" I said and turned to walk out.

"How?!" Leon's dad said gruffly. I turned back around not want to say anything.

"He was murdered, he and my mum were both killed because they were mates" I stated. Someone laughed so I looked in their direction, he had long grey hair, and was wrinkly.

"Of cause they were" he said between laughs. Everyone looked at each other with questioning looks, some of the other alphas also started whispering to each other. "You half breaded monster" he spoke in a disgusted voice. "If only u were there that day." He whispered the last part.

Leon growled at him as I looked him dead in the eyes. " I'll. Kill. You" I shifted and growled. My wolf was something no one had ever seen before, my big black wolf with a stripe of white and a white tail. I was taller then an alpha.

"Monster" the guy whispered. Shifting into his wolf. I giggle a little at the sight of his pruny wolf. He was a grey wolf, but u could tell his fur used to be brown. There were already a lot of mutters going around the room but after they saw his wolf there were even more. He came at me, it probably looked fast to everyone else but to me it was slow. I looked around the room before I saw a bench with no one on it. I jumped to the bench and turned mid air kicking off the bench and charging right at his side with my jaw open.

In a second he was dead and I shifted back to my human form. My cloths were ripped on the ground so I was standing infront of all the alphas naked. Leon came up behind me and put his jumper around my waist and covered my breasts before he rushed me outside.

"Lets go home" Leon said in a hushed voice, I nodded hugging him.

Once we got back to the house I rushed into his room making sure no one in the house saw me. I looked in Leon's closet and grabbed out a shirt and tights. Once dressed I ran back downstairs and ran straight into Leon's arms. "Today was so embarrassing" I said blushing slightly. He just chuckled back at me. "I want to go try work with Nightmare, possibly try to ride him then get him used to you." I looked up at him to see his reaction. He frowned lightly.

"I'm coming with you." He told me, I nodded and we headed off down the path to Nightmare. It was about a 10 minute walk since he was past all the other horses.

"Hey boy, miss me?" I said as I climbed to fence. Nightmare neighed in reply and judged me. I grabbed the whip and started lunging Nightmare without a lead rope. After a short while I walked over to get the halter I had brought with me. "Ok boy, imma put this on your head, it won't hurt you" I grabbed the halter and put try to put it on him but he reared up. I sighed and lunged him without a halter and rope a bit more. Once again I tried the halter and failed.

"Be careful" Leon yelled out I just ignored him and tried again, but again did not succeed. After a couple more times of trying I got the halter on him. I then lunged him again. After awhile I put on a lead rope and taught him how to be lead around. It was a hard process and very time consuming but it was only 12pm so I still had time to continue working with him.

I lunged him this time with the lead rope. I dropped the rope after some time to teach him to stay still when there was a rope on the ground. Soon after I grabbed a saddle pad and practice putting it on a taking it off without him moving. After a while he got used to it so I left it on his back and lead him around with it on.

"Ok boy this is gonna be weird, but I'm gonna try put the saddle on" I said in a hushed voice as if he could understand me. I grabbed the saddle and put it part way on and took it off. "That was good, let's try putting it fully on." I said patting him and he nudge my hand. I put the saddle on him and took it off, he did a good job and stayed still. I put the saddle back on the fence and started patting Nightmare all over so he got used to something touching underneath him. After a while of doing that I grabbed the saddle put it on him and did the girth up. I made sure it was on right and then made the stirrups the right length for me.

I went over near the fence and lead nightmare with me. I climbed the fence and put my left foot in the left stirrup. I stood on the side for a short while before I swung my other leg over and sat down. "Good boy" I said calmly while patting him. Then I told him to walk on, he listened and did as I said, after a while we went to a trot then a canter then a gallop. By the time I did all that it was pitch black, and it was a full moon. I got down and undid every thing and put it all away then I went back to Nightmare and just did liberty work with him and I could tell he enjoyed it.

I didn't bother shifting, there was no need since I knew no one would come over here. The month since I moved in I found out lots of stuff, like how there're pack shifts together and only Ronan and Leon are allowed to leave. I also learnt that Ronan was going to become an alpha but not of this pack since it was Leon's but of his uncles pack since he and his mate couldn't have children.

There family's very interesting and I can't wait to find out more and more secrets.
