Chapter four

I stayed out all night with Nightmare, and as soon as day hit I ran to the house. Leon was waiting at the entrance of the house so I ran up and hugged him, he lifted me into the air and span around. "You could have told me you were leaving" I said punching him on the shoulder.

"I tried but u were too busy with Nightmare that you didn't listen." We both giggled at that.

"Sorry.." I said blushing. Leon picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. I giggled at his motions. I'm only 16, since I'm half shifter I first shift at 15, Leon is 19. He took me up the stairs and opens his door, I kissed him lightly on his lips then he closed his door with is foot. He walked over to his bed and put me down on my lap before he climbed on the bed and hovered over me in a push up position.

If I wasn't blushing before I was definitely blushing by then and was probably as red as a tomato. Leon leant down and kissed me, it was a passionate kiss and nothing like how we had kissed before. He started kissing me in a line all the way to my neck, just above my collarbone. I felt his canines sharpen to become more wolf like. He moved his teeth in a circular motion before sinking them into my neck. I screamed at the pain, but in a split second it vanished and I could feel his happiness.

"Leon..?" I asked him in a quiet voice.

"Not yet vanilla.." he shook his head knowing what I was going to ask, I nodded in reply. We had done it once before but it wasn't like it would have been now." we should go downstairs"

"Ok.." I said, the whole mood ruined. He knew what I felt because of this mark, it made him feel everything I felt. "I'm just going to the bathroom first" I said and headed to the bathroom. Then I was in the bathroom I pulled my collar down to show my mark, it was just like I expected, it was a crescent moon with a intricate pattern in it and of course two scars from where his canines entered. I ran my finger over it before I left the bathroom and ran downstairs.

"Eww" Ronan said sniffing the air, I looked at him questioningly. "My brothers smell is all over you" i blushed as he said that. "You didn't you know.." he trailed off

"No" I shook my head, and pulled down my collar. I giggled as he looked at my mark. At that moment I felt hands wrap around my waist from behind and a kiss on my head. I looked up and kissed Leon back.

"Get a room" Ronan said jokingly, Leon and I giggled. And I turned around placing more kisses on Leon but if course he made me stop and did it instead. "Ok ok I get it you two love each other"

"Don't you two have school to go to" a voice came from behind, it was Ronan and Leon's mum. "Hurry up and get ready and go" she pointed and Ronan and I. I nodded and got ready quickly.

"Ok I'm ready" I said half an hour after she told me to get ready. No one was there and I knew I missed the bus already. I walked to the alphas office and heard Leon and his father talking.

"That monster needs to go she killed an alpha" Leon's father said slamming his hands on a table I think. Leon started speaking but I knocked on the door and entered before he said anything he would regret. "Why does she smell like you" Leon's father said rudely.

"She's my mate." Leon said.

"I hoped you were joking, I guess not, she can't be Luna of the pack"

"She can and she will be!" Leon shouted

"I was just going to ask for a ride since I missed the bus but I'll just walk instead. Have a good day" I said and turned away, I closed the door. As soon as it was closed I ran upstairs and got dressed out of my uniform and into ride worthy cloths. I quickly wrote a letter, packed a bag and ran, I ran as fast I could and went to Nightmare.

I was balling my eyes out when I got to his paddock. I walked over to his tack shed, which was only for his things so I didn't have to walk ages to get all his stuff. I grabbed out everything I needed and saddled him up. We had never jumped before but I was willing to give it a try.

I clicked my tongue and we galloped, he jumped the fence and galloped for a while. I didn't know where I was and I didn't care, I got off of Nightmare and tied him to a fence near a store. I went inside and got water and some food for Nightmare, I had been riding for half the day so I thought he would enjoy something.

After he drank and ate I walked to another store and got myself some food and water and then went to buy a tent and a makeshift fence thing.

I found a spot and lead Nightmare to it ground tying him so he didn't move. I sent the tent up and tied Nightmare to the fence. It was dark so I went to sleep.

Leon's pov
I heard the door slam behind Elora, she will be back after school I thought.

In the middle of the day I went to our room and saw her uniform on the floor, I sniffed the air but her sent was really faint she was further than the school. I could barely smell her and then again maybe all I can smell is her sent left on her clothes.

I looked around the room frantically and found and note it read:

Dear Rainforest,

I love you, but I can't stay if your dad hates me. I don't want to be the cause of all your fights, I want you to be happy, just forget about me.

Love Vanilla

There were tears on the letter from both her and me. Does she not understand that once the bonds there it can't break unless one of us dies. I thought for a minute then it hit me, she will kill herself.

I heard the front door open and ran down star stairs. "Ronan, have you seen Elora?" I asked frantically.

"Not since this morning, why?" He asked back

"No time, I have to go" I raced out the door and ran to nightmares pen but he was gone. I collapsed on the ground screaming and crying, I couldn't smell her anymore. I knew she was alive but where, where was is she?
