As promised, once I got home aunt Claire was already waiting for me with a selection of movies and takeaway menus ready for our chill night in. We decided to watch 'She's the Man' since we both said we would rather spend our night laughing at a comedy than crying at a sad romance. For food we settled on ordering a large pizza to share which should be arriving any minute now.

Throughout the more boring scenes in the movie, we both made small talk catching up on school/work gossip. I missed out anything about Jack, because I wasn't sure how she would react and I wasn't even sure if there's anything to tell about him. "Oh yeah I've been hanging out with this guy by the way, you might know him? I think his gang runs this town? I don't really know anything about him but he makes me happy so..." I thought to myself and almost laughed out loud at how ridiculous that would have sounded.

So instead I talked about Anna, school work, and listened to her rant about some annoying patients until the doorbell rang signalling our food must be here.

"I'll get it" I said, standing up and practically hopping towards the door.

However, I immediately regret that decision once I opened the door to find a very cute delivery boy standing in the doorway, and realised that I probably look like a mess in my sweatpants and hoodie.

"Hey- you're not Claire" he said, looking equally shocked to see me.

And you're not fat and old. I wanted to say but of course I stayed quiet instead. He was a few inches taller than me, definitely not as tall as Jack, with curly brown hair and brown eyes, definitely not as captivating as Jacks. I almost slap myself for obsessing so much over him. If I put everyone down because they don't compare to someone who's literally way out of my league and will never be mine, I'm never going to find myself a boyfriend.

"You must be Daisy" he continues breaking me out of my thoughts. I still remain quiet, not quite being able to find my words.

A "yes I am", or "it's nice to meet you" would probably be favourable but I'm too socially awkward for that of course.

So instead I just smile in response, hoping it doesn't look too forced and make me seem even weirder than I already do.

"I've heard about you, you know. You're the new girl in town, everyone's talking about you"

His words make my face turn into a frown and I feel slightly embarrassed at the thought that everyone seems to know something about me when I've literally only talked to 2 or 3 people in this town.

What if they're saying bad things?

"Don't worry, they haven't said anything mean. Forgot to mention how pretty you are though" he says, smirking at me and I blush at his comment.

I reach out my hand and grab the pizza from him, in hopes of getting out of this situation as soon as possible. "Thanks" is the only word I manage to say out loud to him, and I am grateful that it doesn't come out stuttered or raspy.

"I hope to see you around" he responds before walking away.

"That took a while. Did Harvey give you trouble?" my aunt says as I walk back into the living room. So pizza boy is Harvey, I acknowledge in my head.

"No he was really nice actually" I tell her.

"Oh well he can be a bit of a flirt, but he's absolutely harmless. Comes from a good family. Very sweet boy. Handsome too, isn't he?"

Wait a minute...

"Auntie! Are you trying to set me up?" I say half in shock but half laughing at the situation.
