I woke up to the sound of cabinets being slammed closed. I sat up and was blinded by the sunlight that was streaming in through the window. Gerard moved onto another cabinet, leaning heavily on the counter. I saw all the pill bottles from the box strewn about the floor, though none had been opened.

"What are you looking for?" Gerard whipped around, his hands behind his back.

"Oh, you're awake? Cool, uh, nothing. Not looking for anything."

"Then why are there pill bottles everywhere and you're looking through the cabinets?"

"I don't know what you mean..." I stood up and walked over to Gerard.

"Let me guess, you still need some of those pills, huh?" He looked down at the floor.

"Just like, the insomnia ones and the nightmare ones..."

"And the antidepressants and the anorexia ones?"

"No, not the antidepressants...But yeah, the anorexia ones..." I dug the only bottle of anorexia pills from the box out of my pocket and handed it to Gerard. He took it out of my hand gently and stared at it.

"Hey, it's okay. Don't worry, I'm here for you." He nodded and walked back over to the mess of bottles on the floor. He began to pick them up and check the labels and walked back over to me with a total of three bottles.

"I guess we're gonna have to start ordering refills for these and stuff." He sighed as I picked up one of the bottles, reading the side.

"Wait a second. Gerard...Way?" I snickered as Gerard took the bottle out of my hand.

"Oh, it does say that, doesn't it? What's your last name then?"

"Nothing that crazy, but it is Italian."

"You're Italian?"

"Mhm."

"Well, what's your last name? Seeing as how you cheated to learn mine."

"It's Iero. I know, pretty boring, huh?"

"Not really. I think it's cute."

"Are you flirting with me?" Gerard laughed as he picked up another bottle, checking the side. He was still leaning on the counter as he began to write down the names of the pills on a spare sheet of paper.

"You sure you're okay? You and the counter seem to have become best friends."

"Yeah, just feeling a little dizzy. It's nothing."

"You sure?" Gerard nodded weakly before passing out completely, face planting right into the counter.
