"Gerard?" I gently shook his shoulder, but got no response.

"Oh fuck, you're not okay, huh?" He fell off the counter, but I managed to catch him before he hit the floor. I saw a blood stain on his shirt and cursed. I quickly moved him to the couch and began to pull on my shoes. I ran back to his room and found his mask sitting on a shelf. I ran back out to him and put the mask over his face before quickly carrying him out to the car. I managed to get to the hospital with breaking any laws or crashing into anyone, and pulled into the parking lot. I quickly parked the car and got Gerard out of the passenger seat. Gerard winced in his sleep and mumbled something as I ran up to reception.

"It's an emergency. Like, a real emergency."

"Weren't you here a few days ago?"

"Yeah, and I wouldn't have to be here right now if your doctor hadn't done such a shitty job the first time. Get the best doctor you have, and help him!"

"Oh God."

"What?" She pointed at Gerard, more specifically at the blood the was leaking out of his side. She picked up the phone and started making calls. Almost immediately, a stretcher was brought out and Gerard was taken from me. I started to follow them, but was held back by the receptionist.

"It's best to wait here. You can stay overnight if you want, or you can go home. Just let them work." I nodded and went to sit in one of the chairs. I watched a doctor run in the direction that Gerard had been taken, and heard the nurse yell that Gerard was awake and going into shock. I sat in that chair all day, until the nurse walked over to me.

"Um, would you happen to know if Party Poison has any relatives?"

"Why? Is he dying?"

"Oh no, nothing of the sort. I can see why you would think that, my apologies. They actually have him stable right now. They just need a matching blood type and relatives are a good place to start."

"Yeah, he has a...Brother."

"And what's his brother's name?"

"I'll, uh, I'll call him."

"Okay, sure." I exited the hospital and pulled out my phone, dialing Mikey. He picked up on the second ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Mikey? It's, uh, It's Ghoul. I need you to come to the hospital."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Well, Gerard needs, like, a blood donation, so they wanted to start with relatives for finding the matching blood type."

"I'll be right there." The line went dead and no less than ten minutes later, Mikey walked into the hospital. He walked over to me, and I directed him towards reception. She led him back to one of the rooms, but came back with him a few minutes later. Mikey pointed at me and the receptionist walked over.

"Um, Kobra Kid says that you might have a compatible blood type, so could you come with me?" I followed her back to one of the room and saw Gerard laying on a hospital bed in the center. The doctor turned to me and asked what my blood type is.

"Okay, so, here's the thing. I don't remember what it is exactly, but I do remember my dad saying it was compatible with everything."

"Well, that's exactly what we needed to hear. Right this way, Mr. Ghoul."
