Third Person P.O.V

Nelly was on the back of her horse as she rode to the near town her parents had told her to go to. Nelly ran off to Texas because she was not liking the New York City life as she had when she was younger and free. Nelly had to work all the time in New York and never had time to work with animals. Nelly loved animals and nature but New York was not the place for that. Her parents had told her to go to Texas to find her aunt betty in a town near the border of New Mexico. She had brought a map with her but everywhere she looked it was only flat land until she saw a town.

Nelly's P.O.V

I looked and saw this small town I had not noticed before. It looked small with a big saloon and what looked like a Sheriff's office with small little houses and a Country Store that looked decent. The town had some crops and animals which looked good. I rode my favorite horse Cora, she was a rich caramel color with spots of brown and white all along her skin. Cora was a fairly calm horse, she rarely got upset and loved to eat carrots. I soon meet a gate that read "Welcome to Red River". I question the name as I ride into town. The Saloon is the first place you are greeted with then to the right you will see the Country Store and a few other places. Next to the Saloon was a Sheriff's office and some more places that looked like homes.

I stop and hook my horse to a post and head into the Saloon. I walk in and i see three people in the place. The first person is a male, he has blue eyes and brown hair with a brown horse hide cowboy hat. He has a  tan skin tone that looks like it has been in the sun all day. The man has a leather vest on with a tan long sleeve shirt that is rolled up. The tan male has black jeans with brown leather boots. He is sitting at the bar with a bottle of whiskey in his left hand. "Whatcha starin' at?" he spoke with a deep country accent. "Oh sorry sir!" I said not meaning to be rude. "Its fine...ya new here?" he asked now looking straight at me. "Yes sir I am." I replied to his question. " You can call me Hank." he told me as he went to call someone in the backroom. "HEY, UHH AMELIA COME HERE!" Hank yelled to a supposed amelia.

"Hank what have I told you? No yellin' in my Saloon." she said with a southern accent. If I had to guess, she looked like she was from Georgia. "Oh my lord! Who are you darlin'" The lady asked with her hand on her hips. She looked at me as if I were a child. Amelia was a southern belle looking girl. She had blond hair that had a pretty pink bow in it. She wore a fluffy pink dress that went down to her ankles and then you could see her dark brown boots. The lady's eyes were the greenest green ever. "Hello my name is nelly...I'm new in town." I spoke to her. "Well then, hello to you too darlin'. I'm Amelia as you heard Hank shout my name." she said as she walked past hank and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hank will you be a sweetheart and show this young lady around? Hmm?" Amelia questioned as Hank got up and he walked out the door and looked at me "You comin'?" Hank questioned as he walked out the door. "Yes sir I mean Hank." I told Hank as I waved goodbye to Amelia and prepared for a tour of this small town in Texas.
