PETER WATCHED AS NEWT WALKED UP THE STAIRS WITH LIZ. Newt has turned around,watching the car for as long as he could. But once he entered the the doors he could no longer see him.
Once inside Newt and Liz walked around for a little,when Newt turned to her. "I'm going to look for Ned. Or the food,which ever I see first. I'll meet you back here. You want anything?"
Liz nodded,understanding. "Okay. Maybe just some fruit punch."
Newt nodded,walking away. "Two fruit punches and some chips. Got it."
////// Peter walks down the hallway,the sounds of the music and the people talking were nothing to his ears. He stops and watches his friends through the glass doors,party in full swing.
Ned and M.J were the only ones to spot him. Ned has waved to him but M.J gave him the middle finger. Peter pulls the doors open,the music and loud voices of the people. Liz had been dancing with a few of her friends when Peter spotted her.
She turned around as Peter slowly approached her. "Hey. What did he say?"
Peter just stares at Liz,making Liz realize that something was off. "I gotta go. I'm,I'm sorry. You don't deserve this."
As Peter was about to run off,her voice had stopped him. Well,more like what her voice had said. "You realized you like Newt didn't you."
"I'm so sorry."
Peter ran off,but not for the reason Liz had thought. M.J watches him go,craning her neck. Peter rushes out through the hallway and untie his tie. He lifts a row of lockers with one hand and picks up his homemade Spider-man suit from under it.
Peter had froze for barely a second. At this point he didn't know who he stopped for,was it Liz or Newt?
