NEWT SAT ON THE INSIDE OF THE SEAT,PETER SAT RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. Ned had sat behind the two. They were all still close friends. Newt and Peter did have that date,but it seemed weird at the time. As it seemed as if Peter still liked Liz,so the two had held off for a little.

But,the two didn't know what to do. As neither of them had gone on a date before.

To Newt it seemed like it was obvious. Peter didn't like him. But,Peter didn't know what he felt. He had thought that he cared for Newt as a best friend,the kind Newt and Ned where,brothers. But it didn't seem like that.

Peter's head snapped up,before he looked through Newt's window,which had the boy back up a little. Upon seeing the disaster,Peter turned to Ned, tapping him repeatedly.
"Ned,I need a distraction."

Ned smiled,turning around before screaming about how they were going to die. Newt shook his head,staying seated as everyone got up and panicked. Which had gave time for Peter to open the window,with his web shooters as he snuck out. Newt laid his head in the window,whispering;
"Be careful Peter."

Newt and Ned had taken from the time they got home to now to build the LEGO set. It was one that Newt had found,it was huge. As it said on the box,after measuring a couple things,the two had figured out it was basically up to Newt's knee in size. It was a little taller,but the two had spent their time chatting while building it.
"You think Peter will be sad we built this without him?"

Ned shakes his head,when he turns his head to face him,as he was searching for a certain colored piece.
"What's going on with you and Peter anyway? I thought you guys admitted your feelings a little while after homecoming."

Newt shrugged his shoulders,placing another piece into the set. The tiny building was up to their ankles,as they had continued to drop pieces until Newt suggested to place them in a contour,which Ned had gotten.
"I don't know. I think,that Peter feels that since I told him I like him,that he should give it a go. Like,how Liz left. And then their was me,who he knew liked him. And he thought that it was possible to try it. I think he just wanted an experiment. But,there is no way for him to like me,he has been I love with Liz since,what grade?"

Ned ignored his question,instead asking one of him own.
"Okay,But how long have you been in love with him?"

Newt shook his head,placing another piece before grabbing the bag of chips,eating one.
"I'm not in love with Peter Parker."

Ned looked over at him,not believing him.
"Sure,Okay. Whatever you say. Hey,can I have some?"

Newt handed his the bag,before he spoke his reasoning.
"I'm not in love with Peter. I just have a crush on him."

Ned shoved some chips in his mouth,chewing them loudly just to bother Newt. Newt smiled,snatching the bag from his hands.
"Your an asshole."

Ned laughed,chewing in at a normal rate and way before he questioned Newt again.
"But,when did you start to like Peter?"

Newt shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know. When I had started to notice it,it was a little before our freshmen year. But,I had tried to ignore it. I didn't want to ruin our friendship."

Ned nodded his head,placing another piece before smiling.
"Well,I'm sure when Peter gets back,everything will be cleared up. If not,I'll tell May to help me with you two."

Newt laughed,shaking his head. She would help you.

The two had done a lot of the building,even stopped to put on the Star Wars movie,even though they only used it for background sound when they weren't speaking.

When Ned had dropped a piece.
"Newt?"

Newt looked up,confused when he saw his friend's body start to disappear,turn into dust. Newt sprung forward,trying to grab his hand that was still there,but instead was met with air. He almost fell to the floor,but has caught himself.
"Ned!"

Newt looked over,still seeing the dust but not Ned. That's when he realized. He looked down,seeing his hands doing the same.
"Ned! Peter!"

But he couldn't anymore as he too had disintegrated. Leaving with his last words being the names of his two best friends. Leaving his best friends room,with the LEGO set still unbuilt and the tv still on. While his last thoughts,where about his family and friends.
