The Youngest Aquabat

Chapter 2

*Commander POV*

     I looked around the battle tram and noticed that I haven't seen Jimmy in a while. I wonder what he is up to. I saw Ricky walk out of Jimmy's lab so I asked him about Jimmy.

     "He's in his lab nursing a kid that got beaten up." Ricky said.

     "What!?" I ask in shock. Ricky nodded and walked past me.

     I went into the lab to see for myself and sure enough Jimmy had his eyes locked on a small girl who looked really malnourished, dirty, dried blood on her face and bruises everywhere.

     "You'll be ok, I won't let those kids hurt you again." Jimmy said to her. I smiled at his protective words and mind set.

     "Aww," I said making him flinch and turn to look at me. "you really like this kid, don't you robot?" I added smiling at him.

     "Commander, I didn't hear you come in." Jimmy said looking at me than the kid. "She's hurt bad." He said not looking away from her.

     "Well, she's in pretty good hands with us." I reassured him. He nodded and smiled.

     ~Time skip~

     Some time later the kid and Jimmy walked in, well more like Jimmy carried her in.

     "She's awake!" Crash, Ricky, Bones and I said in unison. She looked shyly at all of us than hid her face in Jimmy's chest which made him smile at her.

     "She's still a little sore from the bruises, but she'll be ok." Jimmy said as he sat her down on the couch. He sat next to her and she laid her small head on his shoulder.

     Bones walked over to them and crouched down by her. "Hi, what's your name? I'm Eaglebones." He said soothing.

     She only smiled and waved at him.

     "Can you speak sweetie?" Crash asked as she turned to him and shook her head.
