The Youngest Aquabat

Chapter 5

*Jimmy POV*

     I scanned Rose and saw she was on the brink of starvation. I got up and went to find her something to eat.

     "What are you looking for Jimmy?" Crash asked me.

     "Something Rose can eat. My scanner shows she's really hungry." I said. Just then we heard Rose's stomach growl.

     "Are you hungry Rose?" Bones asked, Rose nodded in response.

     "I have some left over burgers she can have." Crash said as he ran out of the room and came back with 4 wrapped up burgers.

     'Thanks Crash!' Rose wrote on the notebook. He smiled and handed her the food which she unwrapped and ate. We all watched as she ate like she hadn't had anything to eat in a long time.

When she finished her meal she had a combination of ketchup and mustard all over her face and shirt.

     I smiled at her and she smiled back at me. "I think you need a little washing young cadet." I said and she looked at me with confusion in her blueish/white colored eyes.

     *Rose POV*

     I don't know what a "bath" is so I looked at Jimmy confused. He smiled and picked me up to his hip and carried me to a room with a sink, toilet and bathtub. I looked at the tub confused as Jimmy sat me down on the closed toilet and turned some nob looking things.

     "Now we just need to let the tub feel up and get you some new cloths." Jimmy said as he smiled at me. "I'll be right back cadet." He said before he left the room.

    A few minutes later Ricky came in and turned off the water. I looked at him confused and tapped his shoulder. He looked at him smiling and I mouthed 'daddy' as I pointed at the door wondering were Jimmy was. He looked at the door then back at me.

    "D-did you just mouth 'Daddy' Cadet?" Ricky asked me, a complex look on his face. I nodded shyly. He smiled and helped me take my dirty clothes off then looked away as I got in the tub and sat down, smiling I started to slap the water and splashing around.

     Ricky washed my hair and I just played in the water.
