Club day was over, but Mina had to stay at campus for a while since the production club, a.k.a music club, has a collaboration with the dance club for the campus' foundation day which is going to happen in about three months from now. Chaeyoung's club, on the other hand, had a collaboration with the theater club which Sana is partaking in, but their meeting ended earlier than Mina's so they decided to go to a café so they can meet Mina there.
“Kinda unexpected to see you in the film club, Chae.” Sana said after getting their orders "Yeah, my prof wanted all of us to join a club so I'm just basically joining for the greater good of my grades." Chaeyoung replied, Sana gave her a nod. "By the way, where's Jihyo unnie? It's unusual not to see you both together." Chaeyoung continued. "Her whole club had a meeting together with the dance club. She told me to wait for her here."
After a short conversation, silence surrounds them. Though they understand that they are not really close.
"Say, Sana unnie, how did you and Jihyo unnie started dating?" Chaeyoung suddenly asked, making Sana laugh softly. "It was pretty funny if you ask me," Sana took a sip of her coffee before continuing,
"Jihyo and I were friends before we started dating, right? She knew that I was seeing my ex, but she didn't knew why. It got her really jealous and angry until we had a time alone. We clashed, I asked her why was she acting like that and she shouted "It's because I fucking love you, Minatozaki!". Damn her reaction after she said that was funny." Sana had a wide smile on her face while telling it to Chaeyoung. "After that?" Chaeyoung replied. It was clear that she wanted to hear more about it, but Sana just gave her a playful laugh. "You know what goes after that." Chaeyoung's lips formed an 'o', getting what Sana just said. Sana winked and opened her phone to text Jihyo.
"Ah, Chaeyoung, I gotta go. Jihyo wanted to go straight home." Sana stood up and took a last sip of her coffee. "No problem, unnie. I think I'm gonna stay here a bit longer and wait for Mina." Chaeyoung sits more comfortably on her seat. "Sure. Be safe on your way home, though." Sana walked away, but turned back, "By the way, Chae, why did you suddenly asked about my dating life with Jihyo?" She asked, Chaeyoung shook her head. "Nothing. I was just curious." Sana smiled and went off.
Chaeyoung's now all alone, thinking of what painting can she give to Mina the next day. Her train of thoughts stopped
when someone called out her name.
"Hi Chae!" A cheerful voice greeted her, an
but before she can turn her head, the person is already in front of her. "Oh, hi, Jiwoo." Chaeyoung smiled and greeted her back, noticing the bouquet of flowers she was holding. "Where did that came from?" Chaeyoung asked playfully and pointed at the flowers. "Oh, this? It came from my girlfriend, Sooyoung." She smiled, feeling giddy as she speak her name while smelling the beautiful flowers. "What are you doing here alone? Waiting for your girlfriend or something?" Chaeyoung scoffed. "Did you just assumed my sexuality? Are you really saying that I'm a lesbian?" Jiwoo giggled, because Chaeyoung took it offensively.
"I didn't assumed, my gaydar is just too accurate. Also, I didn't said you're a lesbian, though you seem like the type that is more into girls. Get me?" Chaeyoung rolled her eyes. "I'm pansexual." Jiwoo grinned at her. "See? I'm partly right." Chaeyoung sighed, "Anyway, I'm not waiting for my girlfriend. I'm waiting for my bestfriend." Jiwoo saw the sudden frustration of Chaeyoung. "Why do you look so disappointed when saying bestfriend?" Chaeyoung gave her a what-are-you-saying look. "What do you mean disappointed?" Jiwoo let out a faded chuckle. "The eyes, Chae, they never lie."
Fifteen minutes had passed, and Mina arrived at the café, but before she could go inside, she saw Chaeyoung with Jiwoo holding a bouquet. Mina didn't wanted to conclude, but she unconsciously stepped back, not noticing the person behind her.
"I'm sorry—" Mina paused when she recognized the person she bumped into. "Mina, what's wrong?" The person asked. Mina didn't spoke, instead, she ran away from the café. The person who she bumped looked through the window and saw Chaeyoung. The person smiled, knowing what Mina might've thought.

Chaeyoung is now stuck again with a blank canvas. She was out of ideas, and painting her a portrait might be creepy the second time. She looked around her room full of paintings, but still doesn't have an idea.
"This is hopeless." She growled before dropping the pallet. Chaeyoung gets her phone to call Mina, since she remembered to do so. It rang for about five times before someone picked up.
"Hey, Chae."
"Hi, Mina! Everything alright? You didn't came to the café so I wanted to check in."
"Oh, about that. I'm sorry for not informing you. I was tired so I went straight home."
"Are you okay now? Want me to go there to bring you medicine?"
"That won't be necessary, Chae, but thank you."
"You sure? You know I can go there."
"I'm sure."
"Okay, whatever you say."
"Hey, I gotta go. I feel sleepy."
"Sure, unnie. Rest well."
Chaeyoung received a harsh hang up. She knows when Mina is upset or not in the mood, this usually happens. Either she'll act cold and pushes everyone around, or the exact opposite of it.
I wonder what bothers her.
Chaeyoung then realized what she would depic Mina. She grabbed her pencil and started to outline it.
-
Mina lied in bed, staring at the ceiling. She couldn't understand why she acted like that, or rather what she's feeling at the moment. She doesn't mind that Chaeyoung's dating someone— she isn't supposed to mind, but she couldn't help it. She's suppose to be happy for her because she's her bestfriend, not be acting like a kid like this. She groaned at her thoughts.
I thought it was gone.
She wanted to cry, but she doesn't feel like she needs to. She's just a bestfriend, and that girl is her potential girlfriend. She couldn't stand a chance against her
Someone bid two knocks on her hotel door. Mina hope it'd be Chaeyoung, but she realized that the girl doesn't know she was. there, so she just hoped it wasn't her dad. She slowly opened the door and was a bit shock on who it was.
"You again? What do you want now?" Mina almost rolled her eyes but she was able to stop it. "What? I was lonely at my hotel room so I thought we can drink here and keep each other company."
