"Good , it would have been a shame if one of us were to get heartbroken." She spoke with as much confidence she could muster up.
Y/n tried her very best to hide the emotions building up, but the bluntness in his tone seemed to have hurt more than expected.

He placed his soft hands on the exposed skin of her neck to turn her face in his direction gently. The cold breeze made her shiver as she thought of what to do next.
She moved in much closer than planned stumbling on her feet in the process.
She extended her long slim hands and pulled him in by his navy-blue tie making sure to draw her lips closer to his ear where she whispered..

"I wouldn't want to hurt you."

He smirked-just a small pouting of the lips; narrowing of the eyes and tilting of the head . It was so subtle.

"Shouldn't i be saying that?." He said

Their faces were inches apart, his fingertips traced down her spine and landed on her waist in a solid grip. Her knees go weak and she is intoxicated by the smell of his cologne.

He flashed her one of his famous grins and stared deeply into her soul searching for an answer.... and as soon as he got it he released her and left.

She swallowed all the bile that had built up along with the burning urge to kiss him.
Her face contoured in confusion with nervousness written all over it.

At home- On a call with renjun

Renjun: "you feeling any better?"

Y/n: "no, my body hurts."

Renjun: "i could help with that." He said seductively.

Y/n : "you play too mu-."

Renjun: "i want you so bad."

Y/n: "are you drunk?"

Renjun: "what makes you say that?"

Y/n : "i asked you first."

Renjun: "i asked you second."

Renjun was from busan, one of y/n's close friends.They had met on a trip to Bora bora and instantly clicked. Renjun was vigilant of y/n always trying his best to make sure she was smiling, which he did effortlessly.

He was different from most guys. He said what was on his mind and didnt really care if it hurt your feelings or not.

If he wanted something he would do anything for that something. Like Y/n he tried so desperately to win her over and till this day is making an effort.

He was a great guy but Y/n just wasn't interested. She had a thing for cold stubborn boys, who neglected her feelings.

She wasn't gonna force a relationship with a guy she takes as her brother.

But as dumb as she was .. she chased the guy who claimed he had no feelings for her but for another girl she had never even met.

It frustrated her, not knowing who she was up against
