Chapter 13: I Love You

Marinette

  My heart speed picked up, my eyes widened as Kagami walked closer to him. She then looked at our hands, intertwined together. She frowned, my grip on his hand becoming tighter.

  "Who is this?" She asked, my lips parted I looked at Adrien who smiled at me. "She's my girlfriend." He answered, I shyly waved, "H-hi." This is awkward. She arched her brow, "Your joking right?"

  He frowned, "No. I love her." I smiled at Adrien, "You what?! Adrien, remember 5th grade? I was you first kiss! You were my first--" he interrupted her, "Look Kagami, I'm sorry but people tend to 5th grade in the past."

  Kagami glared at me, "If I have to fight for you I will." Adrien glared back at her, "She's already won." He said, I blushed. She rolled her eyes, "Adrien, this is not a competition for me." I looked down, "A-adrien... Let's just go." I said.

  He chuckled, "Your right Kagami, this isn't a competition for you, because your not competing." He cupped my cheek, I blushed as he kissed me. My eyes widened but fluttered closed once I melted into the kiss.

  I could see tears form in Kagami's eyes. "A-adrien... I've waited to see you ever since 5th grade... I-i thought..." I looked at her sympathetically. "Kagami..." She glared at me. "P-please... J-just don't..."

  She looked back at Adrien, "I saved myself for you." Adrien rubbed the back of his neck. "I-i'm sorry I..." He looked at me sheepishly, offering me a cheeky grin. I giggled a little "About that..."

  Adrien started, "You guys haven't-- Did you guys--" she slammed her books on the ground, papers flying everywhere. She stomped off, which I could understand her. She just lost what I have, what I have is irreplaceable.

  "Let's go to our first class. Ok?" I gave him a weak smile, walking with him to class.

Kagami

  I sighed, tears streaming down my cheeks. What a great first impression on Adrien. I covered my eyes, what is wrong with me? I heard someone sit next to me. "Hey." I looked at them, he appeared to have black hair with blue highlights, he had blue eyes and a white shirt.

  I blushed, wow he was handsome. I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, "H-hey." He chuckled, "What's wrong?" My cheeks went red in embarrassment and I quickly wiped away my tears.

  "N-nothing!" I said a little too loud. He laughed, "You were crying." He sighed, "Anyways, my names Luka. What's yours?" He said holding his hand out, I blushed, "K-kagami." He smiled.

  I shook his hand, a spark lit inside me once I touched his hand. "Wanna walk to class with me... Kagami?" I nodded, "S-sure."

Marinette

  Everything was great. High school, was great. But, I couldn't help worry about Adrien and Kagami. I didn't want them to be together, I wanted him to stay... With me.

  "Marinette? Are you alright?" I nodded and offered him a weak smile, "Yeah. Thanks Luka." He frowned, "Is it because Adrien isn't in this class?" I frowned, "N-no... It's because..."

  My eyes started stinging with tears, "Because..." Luka frowned, "If anyone touched or made fun of you I'll beat their ass Marinette. Tell me." This was an elective class. P.E. Which I shared with Luka.

  "I'm fine Luka. Really." He sighed, "Alright, tell that to Adrien when you guys walk home." I smiled at him, "Anything exciting happening?" He shook his head, "Nah. Well, there is this one girl that's caught my eye."

  I furrowed a brow, smirking. "Who?" He chuckled, "Her names Kagami." My eyes widened, "O-oh. W-well, you should ask her out." I said casually. He smirked, "I'm gonna. But I need your help."

  I held his hand, walking home with Adrien. "Is there something wrong Marinette?" I faked a smile. "No." He frowned, "Look, if your worried about Kagami... You don't have to." I smiled, "I'm not." I lied.

  He frowned, "I know when something's wrong with you Marinette. I don't like Kagami. It was a first kiss, she was my first kiss, you were the first time I had se--" I covered his mouth, "A-adrien!"

  He removed my hands from his face. "The point is, I love you. I don't love her." I smiled, "I love you too Adrien." He sighed, "Here. I'll prove it I you. My mom isn't home right now, she won't be back till 10:00." He smirked.

  He picked me up and carried me to the house, I giggled on the way there.

  I kissed him as he lay beside me. "That was amazing..." I said in awe. He chuckled, "That was. We could do to again..?" I laughed, "No. No way. We're almost out of condoms." He chuckled, and tossed the used condom in the trash.

  "See? I just proved my love for you." I giggled, "Adrien... I know you love me. I love you too it's just... Your feelings can change you know? You might fall back in love with her one day."

  He frowned, "Mari... My feelings won't change. I love you way to much for that. That's what you don't realize. Besides I saw Luka and Kagami walking to class together. Their probably gonna get together and leave us alone."

  I smiled, "I hope so." He chuckled, "Good night Marinette." I smiled, "Good night Adrien."

"I love you."

"I love you too."
