        ~Melina's POV~

"Hey Dee" I said as walked into the ball house hold

Denise: "hey, is school over already?"

"Nah I went late but Marisa told me that I didn't have to stay because there was a pep rally for the rest of the day so signed in and left." I replied as I picked up Zoey 

Denise: "I heard what happened with melo plus I saw your snap"

"I know and now everybody thinks we're dating" I said plainly

Denise: "speaking of melo" she said as she pointed to his car pulling up in the driveway

I sat down on the couch and played with Zoey until melo walked in.

Melo: "sup" He said to Denise

Denise nodded her head

Melo: "you ready to go?" He asked me

I nodded my head, sat Zoey on the floor, and left out with melo

Melo: "can we just order out and chill at your place?"

"Sure but Why? I thought you wanted to out and eat"

Melo: "i did at first but We can eat at your house" he said with a shrug

I shrugged my shoulders as we walked across his yard and made our way to my backyards gate.

Melo: "I'm sorry I took that picture" He said as we walked into my kitchen

"There's really no need to apologize. You didn't do anything wrong" I said as I opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water

Melo: "So it doesn't bother you that people know that we're friends?"

"Technically they DON'T know that we're friends; They think we're dating which we aren't"

Melo: "so you're just gonna let people think we're dating?"

"Nope cause Knowing you, you've already told people the truth"

Melo laughed as we walked out into the living room

Melo: "you know me so well" he said as he plopped down on the sofa

"Sooo?" I said slowly

Melo: "why are you sitting so far away?"

I hadn't even notice how far apart we were.

Melo came over and sat on my lap which caused me to bust out laughing

"Get your tall ass off of me!" I yelled with laughter

Melo: "not until you stop acting so weird around me"

"Okay! Okay!" I laughed as he got up

Melo: "good. I don't want shit to get awkward between us"

"Awkward?! Oh please you've seen me embarrass myself countless times! There's no such thing as awkward with us" I said with laughter

Melo: "like the time you fell down the stairs on fromt Of everyone at gelo's birthday party?!" He laughed

"Or when you tried to impress that Sophie girl by dunking but ended up missing and scraping your knees on the side walk!"

We both bust out laughing

"That was back when my dad was here" I laughed

Melo: "speaking of yo pops, when does he come back?"

"In 2 more months I believe"

He nodded

Melo: "and he's been gone for how long?"
