~Kaliah's POV~

Today was the day of Mel's first doctors appointment to make sure she was even pregnant and they were being oh so generous to let me come

"Are you excited?" I asked mel as I got in the car

Melo: "she better be! This was a lot of hard work on my end"

Mel: "boy focus on the road and yeah I think I'm more nervous than anything"

"Why?"

Mel: "it just doesn't seem real to me like all the stuff we bought can easily go to zoey so that's not an issue but actually confirming it is throwing me off"

"Didn't you guys tell tina?"

Mel: "yeah and I know I'm pregnant because I can feel my body changing but hearing it from somebody else's mouth..I don't know how to explain it"

"I get what your saying" I nodded

Melo: "it's a girl"

"How do you know?"

Melo: "cause I shoot out girls"

"Ew" I said causing Mel and melo to laugh

Mel: "I keep telling him it's a boy but he won't listen. He about to be mad as hell giving all that pink shit to zoey"

Melo: "and she gon be mad as hell when they tell her it's a girl" he laughed

Mel rolled her eyes

"Have y'all thought of any names yet?"

Mel: "IF it's a girl we're going with meliah amour ball and once they tell us it's a boy his names gonna be Liam Lafrance ball"

Melo: "IF it's a girl! Ha you hear these jokes she spitting Kaliah?!"
He laughed as we pulled up to the hospital parking lot

Mel: "just watch" she said as he parked the car

Melo: "all imma tell you is that my DAUGHTER is about to be iced out" he said as we got out the car

Mel: "you mean our SON" she replied

Melo: "I SAID what I SAID" he laughed as we walked into the hospital

I sat and played games on my phone while they talked to the people at the front desk then filled out papers

Once all that was done they had Mel pee in a cup and did some blood work then had us wait in the room.

About 5 minutes later the doctor walked back in

"Congratulations you are 100% pregnant" the doctor smiled

Mel: "can you tell how far along?"

"By the blood work your 2 months" the doctor smiled as she checked her paperwork

"Wait I was in the house with y'all 2 months ag-"

Melo silently laughed

"Ewwwww guyssss" I said causing both of them to laugh

"The ultrasound room is ready if you want to do the checkup today or you can sched-"

Mel: "today's fine"

The doctor nodded her head and walked us to this bright ass room

Me and melo watched as Mel laid down and the doctor applied the gel

Melo: "how long do we have to wait before we can tell the gender?"

"24 weeks" the doctor said

"In months that would be?" I asked

"5" the doctor laughed

Mel: "so what's this check up for?"

"Just to hear the heartbeat and make sure everything is where it should be" the doctor said as she put the device on mels stomach

We all nodded

Melo: "could you explain where I'm supposed to be looking cause all I see is darkness"

Me and Mel laughed as the doctor explained but we stopped when we saw two separate cavities and heard 2 separate heartbeats

"The little dot there is baby A and the little dot over here is baby B" the doctor said as she pointed to the screen

Mel looked like she was finna pass the fuck out and I almost fell out of my damn seat

Melo in the other hand looked cool as a cucumber

Today was gonna be wild
