        ~Melina's POV~

Monday morning...

I sat at the table and waited for ivy Just as I did every other morning but she never showed up.

By the time the first bell had rung she STILL wasn't here so I walked into the building and headed to my locker to get ready for first period

Once I got my books; I made my way to the bathroom to gather myself then I headed to class

once I got there Ivy and Lucas were sitting in their usual seats. I was about to say something but Melo had called me over to where he was so I just walked over there

"Yessir!" I said as he stood up and we did our handshake

Melo: "sit with us today"

"But ivy-"

Eli: "your friends will be fine"

Don: "yeah I think they can share you for at least a day"

"I Don't kno-" I said as I turned around and looked at ivy who was already looking at me

Melo: "come on chip, please?" He asked as he grabbed my arm and made a pouty face

"Ugh Fine" I said as I sat down in the chair next to melo

Don: "you know; you never answered my question"

"What question?"

Don: "about that date"

"Oh" I said as looked down at my phone

Kaliah: "I could've swore she said no"

I looked at melo and he looked at me because we both know damn well that her and don were just in the theater getting freaky so why the fuck is he asking ME about a date?!

"I didn't" I said causing Kaliah to look at me real hard

Don: "so what you saying?"

"Oh im still not gonna take the offer I was just making it clear that I didn't really answer the last time" I said causing Eli to bust out laughing

Eli: "I don't know WHY yo ass insist on talking to her; she's obviously not interested"

O was about to speak but the second bell had rung meaning class was starting

Melo: "I guess Quans not coming today"

Eli: "Yeah I haven't seen him all morning"

O: "he had a doctors appointment at 10 I think"

Melo: "oooh okay" He said as Mr. welsh came in and explained that he had graded everyone's papers

Mr. welsh: "Okay class I've graded all of your papers and applied the extra points as promised. Only 1 of you got a 95% using the extra points; The rest of you got 75's and 80's so you're still passing, HOWEVER there was only 2 of you who got a perfect score WITHOUT the extra points. Does anyone have any questions so far?"

Kaliah raised her hand

Mr. welsh: "alvano?"

Kaliah: "So are we gonna know who the 2 people are?"

Mr. welsh: " yes and I would like those 2 students to stay after class so we can decide which assignment they want those extra points to go to"

I raised my hand

Mr. welsh: "Brown?"

"Are you gonna TELL us who those 2 people are?"

Mr. welsh: "grades are posted on the back wall so you guys can check after class"
