Sun shined through the window of Allison's room waking the young girl up. She gets dressed pulling on a large AC/DC shirt and jeans. Gazing at her younger brother, she sleepily gives him a forehead kiss standing up she heads towards the door to make breakfast.
10 minutes later and yelling echoes throughout the small house. A drunken father and a 18 year old daughter.
" Bitch!" The alcohol fueled emotions cloud his brain, making him see red. His fist colloids with her eye. The impact of the strike sends her descending to the ground. He glares at the girl and heads to the fridge, grabbing a beer. Sitting on the couch, he grabs the remote. Johnny runs down the stairs, to see the commotion and sees his sister on the floor tears brimming her eyes. But they don't fall, they never do, not anymore. Johnny looks at their father about to say something but Allison stands up, walking over to him shaking her head. He sees the distraught in her eyes but knows he can't do anything. She walks over to the kitchen, dragging her brother behind. Seeing scrambled eggs and a cracked plate on the ground. He's about to clean it but Allison beats him to it grabbing the broom. She takes out another plate putting eggs on it and gives it to Johnny, motioning for him to sit. She puts the broom away, kisses his forehead and says in a hushed voice," I'm going to Buck's, stay out of..." She looks in the direction of their father " His way. And be safe, love yah." And she strides over to the door grabbing a large gray hoodie and grabs her shoes walking out.
She sits on a bar stool drinking a scotch on rocks. Her eye starts to bruise but it's not too noticeable yet. Thoughts surround her brain, and the memory of what just happened merly minutes ago.
Allison was making scrambled eggs just how Johnny likes them. Humming while she made them. She rarely was at peace when she was at home so this was a first. Her Mother was at work and her father was asleep, or so she thought.
" Why the fuck you humming?" A deep voice says startling her out of her peaceful trance. She sighs not wanting to anger the beast behind her.
" I'm making breakfast." She said simply.
" Doesn't give an excuse to fucking hum."
" Sorry."
" Better be." He says turning to go to the fridge.
" And being a drunken fool doesn't give you an excuse to be an ass." She murmured to herself, not knowing he heard.
" What did you say little girl?" She turns around to face him.
" I said, being a drunken fool doesn't give you an excuse to be an ass!" She growled at the man in front of her.
" I wish your Mama would've gotta that abortion, would've made life a hell of a lot easier." Usually comments like these didn't get to her but this particular one did. Maybe it was because she did make life easier for them, always making food, cleaning the house, taking care of Johnny.
" Well I do a hell of alot more than you do!"
Tim Shepard sat on the stool next to her, startling the girl. She took a swig of her drink, finishing it. Tim looked at her with a small smile, a dangerous smile.
" Hey Alli, it's be-"
" My name to you is Allison, not Alli. What do you want Shepherd?"
" To talk."
" Bout what?"
" Nothen in particular." She turns to him, Sizing him up. He had black hair, hair longer than most boys but not too long. He had a black sleeveless shirt on, a pair of jeans and a leather jacket. A long scar down the middle of his face. He wasn't good looking, but he wasn't bad looking either. Allison wasn't afraid of him since she fought him once before and won. She doesn't get into too many fights but when she does, she always wins, never lost a single fight.
" What happened to your eye?" Tim was quite the observer, Allison thought.
" Fell."
" That's kinda hard to believe."
" Didn't tell you to." He smirks.
" Just looking out for you."
" Don't need looking out for." They continued to talk and Allison was still being stubborn until she had another drink or two. An hour passed and Dallas decided to go up to buck's knowing Allison was there. Johnny had told Dallas of what happened or what he saw of it anyway. Walking through the doors, Dallas looks around seeing Shepherd and Allison. Sitting next to each other. Talking. It would be an understatement to say Dallas was pissed at Shepherd. Tim was leaning in, going closer and closer. Dallas strides over hidden jealousy in his eyes. He swung his arm around her shoulders glaring at Tim, daring him to make his move. All Allison wanted was to have a nice time at buck's to forget the previous events but Tim showed up and then Dallas. Yay keep eye fucking, Allison thought the two were hardcore glaring at each other. So while they were distracted she took a swing of scotch and stood up stomping on both of their feet leaving the bar.
Allison ended up at the Curtis house, hanging with the rest of the gang. They were all watching Mickey mouse, while Darry was cooking dinner. Allison told him she could help but he wouldn't budge, neither would she so he said she could do the dishes. Allison knew that he was overworked everybody did, having to balance a job and taking care of his siblings. She knew what it was like, It happened all her life. Having to make sure the house was clean, go to school, and take care of Johnny since about the age she could function by herself. Darry was always there for her and Johnny, always offering a place to stay if needed. Everyone knew the pain she endured at home but for some reason she was always worried about them never herself. She sat in the living room on the old couch. Sodapop sat on her left, on her right was Ponyboy, Two-bit sat in front of the tv, And Steve was sitting next to Soda's legs and Johnny was right next to him. She loved all of the goofs, they were her family. Sodapop, Ponyboy and Darry were always there for her and Johnny when they needed a place to stay or just to talk. Two-bit was one of her best buddies, always there to make her smile or laugh. Steve, well her and Steve hated each other, always arguing even about the most littlest things. But as much as murder was in the air when an argument was stirred up they always had each others backs if needed. And Dallas what to say about Dallas, they were best friends, they'll deny it but they both want something more. Speaking of Dallas he walks through the door immediately seeing Allison.
" Just the person I was looking for." He spoke with a smirk.
Then all hell broke loose between the two. Glares that could kill, and words flying throughout the room.
" If you keep this up everyone's gonna think your an old married couple." Two-bit bantered keeping his attention on the tv. Allison fumed, giving Two-bit a slap to the head before storming out.
