Goggles
The door handle fell to the ground, all the metal melted away into some random shape. Headphones pushed in the door and ran over to the alarm system, which was already beeping. She placed her hand against it and it froze, destroying it completely in the process.
We silently made our way through the Museum, avoiding any cameras. Bobble melted the lock leading into the artifact room, it dropped onto the floor echoing throughout the Museum.
Specs and I made our way to the artifact as Bobble and Headphones headed back to the main area. I teleported inside the glass room and carefully walked over to the vase. When I picked it up alarms immediately went off, red lights and everything. I teleported out and grabbed Specs shoulder teleporting the both of us back to Headphones and Bobble.
We climbed up the rope and outside onto the roof. Heroes were already outside and surrounding the place.
Bobble reaches down and burned the ropes. Headphones replaces the glass panel and we slide down onto a less round section.
"Over there," Specs mumbled pointing to an empty area. Our escape route.
They all latched onto me and I teleported everyone down. We began running towards the forest. Only seconds away.
Suddenly Rider stood before us, that same smirk on his face. "And where do you think you're going?" He asked glaring down at us.
Specs rolled his eyes and grabbed the vase from me, "Goggles, kill him."
Everything moved in slow motion. At least it felt like it did. I grabbed my knife, thinking as I did so. It never occurred to me, to do this, to kill Rider. I'm sure I had many chances but I just never did. Slowly Rider flew up, I stared into his eyes as he stared back.
I couldn't. As I threw the knife I aimed a little off, that accompanied by his movement lodged the knife into his stomach. He fell to the ground as everything seemed to speed up and Specs pulled me into the forest.
