Rider
I fell to the ground. The knife in my stomach jostled around making everything a lot worse.
"He missed," I mumbled to myself.
Everyone began surrounding me. Army used his telekinesis to pull out the knife, and Mask used some sort of smoke on me to make me fall asleep.
"He missed on purpose," I mumbled as the world slowly went dark.
I woke up in the hospital, bandages around my stomach. I was wearing a hospital gown, and it annoyed me.
"You're awake," Army said looking at me, "honestly we didn't know if you were going to wake up, or if you would've even survived."
I rolled my eyes sitting up, wincing as my wound burned in response.
"Careful," Army said making my body stop moving, "you can't just move around as you please."
"Okay, yeah, whatever, now let go of my body."
He did. The nurse walked in after that. "Ah, I see you're awake." Army got up and left, "now we won't be able to release you for another couple of days, but you seem to be healing just fine so we shouldn't need to keep you any longer."
I nodded, and answered the questions they had. "Well I'm sure your blue friend will be happy to see you," the nurse said right before they started to leave.
"Wait, blue friend?"
She turned around, "yea, he climbs in through the balcony, he thinks we don't know he's here every night, but we do." She winked and walked out.
I sat there confused. Goggles had been visiting me. I looked around before spotting a bag on the floor next to the bed. Digging through it I found my phone.
I called Aloha, "hey I need a favor."
"Uh," he said, "good to hear you're awake, what exactly do you need?"
"The knife that Goggles threw at me, can I borrow it?"
He was silent for a few seconds, "b... borrow it?"
"Well not exactly borrow it, more like keep it."
I could almost hear his eyeroll, "yea sure, whatever..."
