Peters POV

We ran as fast as we could, not stopping. Hooker relied mostly on me cause I was the only one who actually knew this building. We took the stairs, and by the time we reached the bottom our legs burned. But we had to keep running.

"To the bar!" Hooker shouted and I turned right towards the 'bad' part of town. Everyone calls it that, it's just mostly poverty and drug dealers. Okay I guess it's the 'bad' part of town.

When we reach the bar, we are out of breath and can't even talk. These stupid vans are killing my feet, but I can't take them off, considering there's broken glass everywhere.

We sit down for a few minutes, drinking water and catching out breaths. Right as the silence started getting awkward, Hooker says something.

Hookers POV

"Peter?" I ask. He shoots his head up, almost in an angry way, but he takes a breath and relaxes.

"How do you know my name?"  He stops fiddling with his fingers.

"Uh, I heard Tony say it before. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said you name." I ramble on and on but he stops me with a cold hand on my skin.

"Calm down. It's fine. What's uh, what's your name?" I look down at his hands. There's dirt under his short nails. There's small cuts and bruises around his knuckles. I kinda hate how much we've made him change. He was so innocent before.

"Clark." I say after a minute. Peter smiles. I try to ignore the faded bruise on his cheek and small cuts. His chapped lips and dry patches of skin. I try to picture what he looked like the first day he came here.

"Well, Clark, how did you come here?" I open my mouth, ready to finally tell him my story, but another thought changes what I say.

"What are we doing?" Peters smiles fades, "we need to get everyone else."

"We can't go back there." He sighs a long sigh. I ruined this moment we had, I'm scared we won't get it again.

"White has done so much for us. I mean, we gotta save him." Peter stands up and paces around. He doesn't say anything, worrying me a bit. "Peter?"

"I don't know if we can, Clark." He rests his head in his arms on the bar. "I really want to save them, but c'mon, think straight here. It's the Stark Tower. It's full of technology that we could never get past. Even if we maybe disguised ourself or snuck in, we would be found."

"Don't you want to at least try?" I stand up and walk towards him. He lifts up his head and looks into my eyes.

"I do. This is a tough situation, though. Shag and White are always the ones who come up with the great plans. Us two are the ones who just execute them." Has he really given up hope?

"You don't understand. White has been my best friend since forever. Now, I don't know if you've ever had a best friend, but I'm not leaving him. It's risky, and yeah it's probably not going to work, but we need to think of a plan."

Peters POV

Clark has never told me about his relationship with White. I've seen them mess around like they've been friends for a while, but I've never considered the fact that they've known each other for however long forever is. Now that I think about it, Clark was told me virtually nothing about his past.

Whites POV

When I wake up, everything is so bright and loud. I rub my eyes and look around. Everyone is awake, sitting around the room in handcuffs. Well, mostly everyone has them off, except that one scrawny 12 year old. I count everyone up, we're missing two people.

"Where's Hooker? And Peter?" I use my belt to break free from the handcuffs.

"I saw him escape. Someone from the outside ripped the door off and let him out. Tony came back and welded the door back on." Shag said, rubbing his forehead.

"Did he abandon us?" I don't know why I would have asked that. Hooker would never leave us.

"Maybe he left and is now trying to find a way to save us?" Shag responds, but I don't say anything afterward. I have a killer headache, and honestly want to get back to the bar.

Peters POV

"Peter, listen to me!" Clark is frustrated, I can tell. His nose is getting scrunched up and his face is red, kinda cute.

"There is literally no way for us to save them!" I slam my hands on the bar, which causes Clark to step back.

He doesn't say anything for a good ten minutes, and neither do I. I've got nothing else to say. It's impossible for us to go back. Case closed.

"You were Spiderman. Why don't you use your powers and climb the building?" Clark finally says.

"I don't have a suit." I fidget with my fingers, like always.

"You don't need one!" He is getting very excited, "just wear a hoodie. You can break in, save everyone and Tony won't see you!" He might actually have a good idea.

A grin appears on my face, "I guess there is a way to save them."
